“We have an older Pomeranian with heart issues. She desperately needed a dental cleaning; however, our local vet required advanced testing to see if Evie could handle anethesia. We were referred to Wedgewood for an EKG. Once that was completed and the cardiologist had a treatmant plan in place, our local vet referred us back to Wedgewood and Dr. Bachman to complete the dental procedure with the additional heart monitoring they could provide. I am beyond amazed with the care, love, and concern they gave Evie (and me) throughout the entire referral. I am so thankful that Evie had her dental on 9/14/26, and she came through with flying colors. Dr. Bachman walked me through the procedure and how everything was handled before, during, and after the anethesia was administered. We live in McLoud, and we will definitely take any referral to Wedgewood that we need to treat any of our pets. Thank you! (Included is a picture of Evie still feeling out of it from the procedure.)”

“We've been through some things here but they were sympathetic to our loss. They treated my Tinkerbell for heartworm when she was younger and gave me 10 more years. They also are always super helpful and full of information with my hefty weiner dog Harley with allergies. Anyways this is where I bring my dogs and so does my other family which they have their stories on how they helped them out with their dogs even when they thought there was no hope. Also the front desk staff is awesome and friendly, they speak Spanish too which is helpful.”

“Our Duke suddenly developed diabetic cataracts in both eyes. He when totally blind in a couple months. We were told there is nothing that can be done. We took Duke to Dr. Gwen and he said he can fix Duke. A week later, he performed his surgery. He is an amazing doctor with a great personality. He fixed my blind dog in one day. I couldn’t ask for a better animal optimist or person! The staff is so sweet, amazing, and caring as well. Overall great experience! My Duke can see again!”

They also go into detail on what they need to do to help your pet. They truly do care about your pets and know they're apart of your family. The support staff here are also very helpful and compassionate. Plus they're reasonably prices for the services and care they provide. They're not trying to get rich and rip you off cause you have a sick pet. I will never take any of my pets anywhere but here.”
“My 14 year old Jack Russell, Little Boy, was having increasing health issues and passing blood in urine. My regular vet was booked heavily several days out. We were referred to Shrag's. They were kind and saw him that afternoon. X-rays revealed urethral stones and other health issues a n d at his age and level of suffering euthanasia was recommended. I held him as he passed peacefully.”
