“Very busy store with lots of inventory changing daily. The employees were the biggest surprise. Looking for a hard to find product the sales associate stopped what he was doing and personally escorted me to where the product was to make sure I found it okay. Thanks Robert and crew. “They have good prices and a pretty good variety of things that you might need. Their prices are maybe 2 to 4 cents higher than Wal-Mart but it's worth paying a few pennies more to avoid all the hassles and the crowds at Wal-Mart.”

“Friendly service! The only thing I would complain about is the refrigerators because they have mold and mildew all at the bottom of the inside and when you open them you can smell it really strong. I wonder who’s supposed to be cleaning it!”

“Great shoping ..had everything i was looking for my family had a blast the employes were very helpful the only thing missing was a video game room ..had toys video gmaes towels dog treats dog beds cat toys cat beds they even had a playstaion 5 which is very hard to find but they had just one but overall great place to shop”
“Due to being short staffed it appears they didn't have the opportunity to put out their product, the shelves are pretty bare. The new staff though appear to be a lot more professional that was a bright light.”

“Quick stop and l can always find Raid tissue and dawn dish liquid pot scrubbers, staff members have come and gone however these work members are better and nice often staff deal with angry customers and both times staff did a great job and defused the issue. Sometimes working in Retail can be difficult. Overall great job. That's my Store and l will go there as long as they are open.”
“Seem to always have stock carts out blocking isles a lot of the time and slow on stocking certain items but hey.... Considering where store is located and the majority of elements(people) they have to deal with due being shady and have to keep constant eyes on... I can understand the interference on in store work. Besides that... Have never had a bad employee experience myself.”

“I love shopping at this this store for it being so cheap it packs a punch .? Has everything you need from bath room living room kitchen attic, has it all even down to the holidays. Halloween Christmas Thanksgiving and the employees are very useful they know their store from top to bottom .So they are very useful and it's a non smoking store so it's very kid friendly so no need to worry about that and their carts are the cutest Thier so tiny but big you can put whatever you want in them some stores are very large like Walmart or HEB just in case y'all don't know what HEB is it's a food store in Texas thats like Walmart but better now back to the sizes of of the stores some are teeny tiny but jam pack with lots of goodies but very comfy and nothing is confusing it's all very simple to find now they did add the freezer so now they sell refrigerator and freezer food and they actually have a nice selection for both ranging from breakfast lunch to dinner so if your trying to make waffles french toast to eggs they have it down to sandwich material and the dinner selection doesn't shy short either they have hamburger's veggie burgers hotdogs chicken turkey and even have Chinese food can you believe that Chinese food and the best part they even have dessert ?? yes y'all dessert ice cream pop cycles and other delights well it's a all around store they is cheap and simple check it some time and have a blast oh I almost forgot about the toys puzzles and read books aswell as coloring books for that low time of the day I could keep going on but I think y'all get the point make sure to check out your local Dollar general store bye y'all.”

“It's a dg anyone will tell you you get what you pay for with this one although it's newer and it's nice inside but cluttered like every dollar store is ive never had an issue with anyone here so long as your calm it stays calm ive seen some ghetto come out of here tho so expect a response I you got a problem”

Helped me with locating what I was looking for within my small budget and friendly with another gentleman asked a question as he came in. She said it was only her second day, but she seemed really good already! That is definitely the way to be whenever possible!”
“I love Family Dollar, but they DO vary from store to store. The one closest to my house has zero shopping carts. Since I'm always buying 2lt. bottles of Dr Pepper, I need a cart. That store is a mess. NOT shoppable. Very low on stock. Not Recovered, and usually only one employee at the store trying to run it alone.The next closest store is well stocked and usually recovered. Again, no shopping carts and the parking lot is a hazzard to your vehicle. LARGE dip runs the length of the parking lot. Not very customer friendly, but the employees are friendly and there is usually two of them.My choice is a third store close to us. The store is new and located on Pine and Mingo. The new store is well stocked, clean and recovered. They have multiple carts and they will allow me to take them to my car as long as I promise to return the cart inside the store. the only thing that is bad is there is usually just one employee. She is an older woman who is awesome. She is always stocking shelves and serving customers. She does a great job even though she is alone. I worry for her safety though. They are also almost asking to be robbed.I REALLY DO like the stores. You can find many bargains comparable to Wal-Mart and when they have Dr. Pepper on sale, their price brats ALL the competition.”
