“I think the employees are doing the best they can under the circumstances.
They are seriously underpaid and always understaffed -not by their choosing. The employees are just trying to get by like everyone else.
They always make sure to offer a friendly greeting and they work hard day in and day out. They always take the time to ask how I'm doing and if I need helping finding anything. They make sure to inform me of any sales going on.”
“Was clear and organized. Lots of items. The cashier was very sweet Also a. Shout out to her as I left my phone and she called the emergency number, which is my hubby. Contacted him and he went up to fetch my phone. Such a valuable employee and human to society. Thank you!!!!”
“The store was packed full of stuff. I was rather surprised by their selections. The lady who answered the phone when we called before making the drive out there to make sure they were still open was very polite and helpful.”
“Called multiple times. No one EVER answered. I’m legit trapped in their bathroom rn with NO toilet paper or paper towels for over ten minutes now. Like I’m not asking you guys to come wipe my ass. Just get some toilet paper to me. Like the temptation is real to use that stupid square.
UPDATE. My kids ran to tell an employee. When they came back they said the employees where dealing with something and couldn’t help.
SECOND UPDATE. I FINALLY got a hold of someone on the phone. She said the lady was on her way. Told her what that employee supposedly told my kids. They are bringing toilet paper. Update from one star to three as I was legit just trying to get their attention for toilet paper.
FREEDOM!!! Happy fourth!
Final update! My kids and I were checking out and evidently they said “you’re out of toilet paper in the bathroom” and they said they’d get to it when they can. SO. DT wasn’t at fault here. Back to 5 stars! I appreciate your services to the broke my good store.”
“Great people work at this place they're real friendly I hate to see it close down but that just goes to show more power to the big man another people are going down God bless y'all”
“I love browsing and discovering what is new. Products change often so if you see it and think you might want it don't wait. The prices are reasonable. Products are good quality. Store is maintained and reorganized often by friendly professional staff.”
“Excellent friendly people, price's are good too for most of the stuff that i purchase each month,If i need something good like some junk food they have when i need it.”
“This is the cleanest Dollar General store I have ever been in. Floors were not cluttered. No carts blocking items. Everything on shelves no tripping hazards. I’m very impressed with the staff, they are doing a amazing job!!! This will be my store to shop at from now on.”
“Cleanest dollar general in Shawnee,Oklahoma! Very friendly employees and shelves are stocked most of everytime. Only dollar store I care to shop at. Beard and Farrell.”
“Kim the manager is very hard working and pleasant to customers. Since the remodel, the store has never looked better. Keep up the awesome work Kim. I hope everyone has a chance to stop in and see the change. I'm super happy to have my DG back.”
“Though the store did not have things in the isles like others. The store had not much product on the shelves. There was a lot of product on the top shelve, there was two employees but one was on the register the other kind of working on an overflow cart. They were chitchat away about a movie and things. Good thing I could reach the top shelve for what I wanted.”
“This is a great place to get several of the things I use on a regular basis. The prices are great. My only issue is the store is under staffed. The inventory takes a while to make it to the shelf for customers to see and buy.”
