“108 Contemporary occupies a great space. It is one of the main draws during Tulsa's First Friday art walk, so it can get crowded. It has a small, but really wonderful gift shop that features a variety of items in a variety of price ranges. Have a friend who is hard to buy for? Head there. The gallery's staff is very friendly and helpful. I have found that the monthly exhibits have become uneven over the past months. I appreciate modern art, but it is not my go-to. I appreciate creativity and originality, but sometimes 108 features artists who are more interested in being considered edgy than in anything else. For a while, 108 had a string of fiber artists on exhibit--it was just not that engaging. Basically, 108 will always be on my art walk route.”

This year's theme is Alice in Wonderland and some of the artists ran with that. I love to come in this time of year to see all the fabulous talent that is in Tulsa.”
