“I contacted J’s Escape to inquire about renting their space for a family reunion. They were quick to respond and the process was very simple and smooth. When I arrived for a tour of the venue, I was warmly greeted by Marlo (sp?). I had my mother with me as well and, we were both immediately impressed by him. He gave us a tour and answered all of our questions. The venue is such a great place…a hidden gem. We talked more and left feeling absolutely positive we had found the right place. Our reunion was this past Saturday and our whole family loved the place! There is so much space outdoors and many activities provided for people of all ages. The house had plenty of space for us to spread out all the food and beverages for our family. Everything inside and out was outstanding! We will definitely contact J’s Escape for our next big event.”

“This is the community center by Veterans Park (previously Centennial Park). The building says Central Center but I believe they're going through a name transition. I have attended various events (weddings, community events, dance socials) in this building and its such a wonderful space. The staff is wonderful to work with. They're responsive and helpful in every way. There are various rooms available for rent depending on what you need and a full kitchen. The atrium has a stage and lots of rooms for tables and chairs (provided by the center). You can choose the layout and there's also audio available if you want to connect your laptop. We have been very happy with our experience using the space for our Latin dance socials. There's a beautiful view of downtown, lots of natural light and very spacious option for events. Nonprofits also get a discounted rental fee.”

“Me and my wife recently had our wedding at Sapphire event center. We had such an amazing experience with this wedding venue! The owner Charo is super attentive, helpful, and genuinely cares about making sure everything is perfect. You can tell how much pride they take in the venue and in making each couple’s special day memorable. Gary her husband is also very helpful, he went out of his way to make sure everything was in order!
The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking! Every detail is gorgeous, and it creates the perfect atmosphere for a wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to celebrate such a special moment. Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful space and an owner who truly goes above and beyond!

“Still trying to understand why Fluffy Gonzalezs comedy tickets were $100 each. When he talked about his personal life for roughly 2 hours. He talked about his ex, his son, his new girlfriend, his overseas trips and an interview about a comedy special.
Again no jokes, no comedy.
I was expecting a comedian that told jokes for 2 hours and makes me laugh.
There were 3 comedian friends in the show startup. There were great, i laughed and laughed.
Im just lost on the comedian called Fluffy.”

“Some what hard for elderly to understand how to control the temperature in their room and using the shower. Besides those things we enjoyed fishing 🎣 being here with the family . We used the pole barn, it was nice could use a couple more ceilings fans. Everyone enjoyed the place so much we plan on staying there next year for our reunion”

This year's theme is Alice in Wonderland and some of the artists ran with that. I love to come in this time of year to see all the fabulous talent that is in Tulsa.”

“We live in Tulsa but had to be out of our house due to HVAC and insulation being redone! We chose this location due to the 2 bedroom option as we have 3 kids under 8! Tabitha went above and beyond for us as we needed early check-in due to our insulation team arriving at 7:30 am. We knew there was a possibility no rooms would be available before their standard check in time but there were! She was so kind and accommodating each time we spoke with her and was truly the highlight of our stay. As business owners ourselves we notice employees who go above and beyond and she’s one of those! We also encountered Destiny a few times who was also very sweet as well!
The pool area, basketball court, and courtyard area was such a treat. Lots of nice shade and a great spot for our toddler to walk around and explore. It didn’t even feel like we were in Tulsa.
Great proximity to restaurants and shops and the rooms were spacious and well maintained!
We will definitely be back for another staycay!”

“This is a good 3-star hotel in a great downtown location - only a 10 to 15-min walk from the BOK center and surrounded by restaurants and bars. Being a historic building, the rooms are a bit small, but they've got all the basics and are pretty well updated! Rooms were extremely clean and tidy and had coffee machines, mini fridges, etc.
The location being so close to downtown is great, but because the hotel lobby isn't on the ground floor, lots of people not staying at the hotel come and go on the first floor. When I was waiting to pick up a doordash order, an unhoused person came in and began smoking a cigarette INSIDE the building - to which the staff escorted him out promptly and kindly despite him being erratic. This is not on the hotel at all (they did what they could!) as the ground floor is public access, but something to keep in mind if you are travelling alone or with children.”
