2 stars only because another guy resolved the issue when I went back up there.
The two guys working the front, the Hispanic guys, laugh about making sales off of you and push it on everyone. I heard them saying, "Did you at least make a sale in that time?" and laughed with each other. How unprofessional and inappropriate. Does management know about them?
I went in there for a simple name change, but one of them told me they'd give me a promo deal that brings my bill from 100 to 60 when I updated my address... I agreed, and he told me it was a 32 dollar activation fee." I agreed. They gave me a phone even though I didn't need one, but he said it "comes with the plan. "... "No charge to you." Whatever, I accept it. Come to find out on my bill, the 32 dollars was for the phone purchase, NOT an activation fee or a promo deal plan... AND I owed for the protection plan and data and all this stuff he signed me up for on that phone I wasn't going to use. He told me that since it was free, I didn't have to use it... Yeah, so it can rack up fees for them. I immediately took it back once I noticed and demanded they take it back and refund me.
Absolute scammers and liars. These employees straight LIE to your face. Watch out for those guys. Don't speak with them. Once I move, I am cancelling my Cox services for good. That was my last chance with them.
If you can avoid them, do it all costs. They'll just scam you out of your money.

DO NOT EVER BUY. I only actually had internet for a month. Got charged for 3 months, and they charged me twice for sending someone out that didn’t fix anything. Customer service cussed at me when trying to dispute this.
The issue was never resolved and they sent me to collections which has DAMAGED MY CREDIT!
COX IS THE SLIMIEST AND MOST FOUL BUSINESS I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. T-MOBILE ISNT MUCH BETTER BUT ATLEAST YOU CAN CANCEL THEM EASIER.

Cox is overpriced and impossible to deal with. disconnected service after repeated outages and it took OVER AN HOUR to get someone on the phone. Horrid company with awful service

We had four repair visits. We were without any cable for two weeks! The first two visits they had no idea what was wrong. These visits you’d have no idea they worked for Cox….no uniforms, slouchy appearance…contract workers for Cox. These two visits had NO effect on our inoperative cable tv. The third and forth visits were made by a uniformed employee that tracted down the problem at the “HUB”. I’m on a neighborhood site. I can’t tell you how many people said that Cox sucked! I believe if they don’t pull there act together…they will be without any customers. There was a lot of bitching about the costs for Cox as well.

They are third party. Know very little about the company. When you ask questions their answer is "I don't know". It could be lack of training, experience and for at least one of the employees that work there lack of manners.
