Assistant manager was very sweet and super helpful on getting my daughter’s ears pierced. She was able to answer all of my questions and make it very fun for my daughter

This place houses a racist, unprofessional, and avoidant manager.The manager stood around the register in the store area. It was not busy. However, I noticed when I came in the majority of the people there were ethnic minorities. Meanwhile, I'm browsing the store for over 15 minutes.And I noticed she greeted 1-2 of the only Caucasians in the store. All the while not saying A WORD to any of the minorities or offering any customer service. When I walked up to check out, she has the audacity to ask me whether or not I wanted to purchase additional items without the proper greet she gave the white women to my left.When I confront her, I was calm and patient. I said no and asked her what her issue was. She justified herself and when I called back later to request more information about her to file in a complaint of racist behavior, one of the associate took the phone of the line so it would not ring.

Unprofessional. The manager ignored my calls, hung up the phone, and literally left the phone OFF the line so people could not call the store. She did not want to have corporate dialed on her.

Was in there about to spend close to $100 and only one person was working and she lost more business there was two little girls with the hands full of stuff and they had to leave because we got blown off for a $30 piercing. She probably lost close to $300 in sales for a cheap little piercing. Sorry but you either need to make the person who wants a piecing wait or hire another person it's not rocket science. That's why your store is failing and you are having to shut a bunch down.

Vera was amazing! She was alone on a December Saturday & willing to help my mother with piercing her ears unlike another location that couldn’t bc “too busy”. Vera spent the time to find out that my mom’s piercings had not closed up & saved her some pain lol and money. We were so appreciative of her customer service!!!!

It's a little pricey, I was told over the phone it would cost 24.99 for ear piercings but when I paid it was $40 and some change.. oh well though my niece loves her earrings lol but the ladies who worked there are awesome, and helpful.

I got my ears repierced on February 15th 2020 I was told I had to purchase the most expensive earrings they had I stated they were to expensive so I went with the silver ones well I called them to ask how to get them out after wearing them for 4 weeks the lady I spoke with was no help at all never said come in and we will help u she just kept saying I don’t know what to tell you I didn’t think she was very professional I think you need to get employes that care about the customers

I got my ears pierced last Friday, and when I and decided on what earrings I wanted, I was told that I couldn't buy the standard kit to care for my piercings because they were out of stock and didn't know when they would be back in stock. I really didn't want to get the rapid healing kit because it was $12 more expensive but since she didn't know when it would be back in I went ahead and got them pierced. So over the past week I've been looking at the solution and I had previously gotten my ears pierced at Claire's so I had some solution left over from them and when i compared the two solutions I had from Claire's and the one I had bought from Icing they were the same. So I asked my friend who told me about icing and she said when she bought the rapid solution it was in a small bottle. So I looked it up on there website and syre enough they had given me the standard solution which they said they were sold out of and charged me for the rapid solution. So I had time today and I went back to get a refund on the difference in cost at least. When I explained the situation to the manager she told me no, I had bought the standard solution. I explained again that I had bought the rapid solution because I was told there was no standard solution in stock. So she went to look at the earrings to see and she comes back and says that I had bought the standard and that the standard kit I bought cost 36. I showed her on the chart that one it said that all the standard kits were out of stock, and that the standard of the earrings i got were 24 not 36 like the rapid. She refuaed to believe me even though it was on the chart and told me I bought the standard. I then asked her why on the receipt it would say I bought the rapid healing kit. She didn't really answer me and instead said that the girl who sold it to me must have made a mistake and basically asked me what I wanted. I told her I wanted a refund at least on the difference and she told me they don't give refunds on piercings which makes no sense because plastered on their store window is a sign that says free ear piercing with the purchase of a care kit. The only thing that she said she could do is give me the rapid solution that I should have gotten the first time. I wasn't really happy about that because I've been cleaning them with the standard solution so i doubt it would work the same but at that point she wasn't even listening to me anymore and messing with the register so I just took the solution and left. Honestly it was a mess and the thing she didn't even address was that they lied about what they had. It is ridiculous, I won't be going back.
