I had the absolute worst experience with Thrifty Car Rental. The service was shockingly rude, and to top it off, they made us wait outside in the freezing cold for a mind-boggling 2 hours. But the real kicker was that their parking lot was completely empty – not a single car available! I wouldn't wish this nightmare on my worst enemy. Avoid Thrifty Car Rental at all costs! DO NOT COME!

Counters for all car rentals are closed. You will have to go to the garage and stand In 100+ degree heat in the summer for 1-2 hours and talk to the rudest customer service people in the world. And you may not even get a car after all of that. We were turned away because the car was going to be driven by my wife. But I wanted to pay for the car on my credit card. This means a husband cannot rent a car for his wife.Refund, who knows. They said it could take up to 30 days. It only takes 2 minutes to give your money to them.

Rented a Chevy Malibu for 3 days. I returned it 15 minutes early, I checked my receipt that they emailed me the next day and was charged extra hours for returning it late. This is not the only car rental pulling this kind of scam. Hertz did it to.

Horrible customer service, was hung up on and will not be renting with this company in the future. Would give 0 stars if possible, very annoyed and have been reaching out for several hours for a solution.**Raising my rating a little because the issue was resolved the next day, with an exchange but roadside wait time was too long and expensive to be useful since it wasn’t purchased at the counter.

I reserved a rental and was put on a 30 minute waitlist. Don't let people reserve cars if you don't expect to have then.

They lie to you about policies and returned locations. Also, they will charge you extra if they have credit card information.NEVER TRY THRIFTY.

My daughter and son-in-law recently rented a car from these people through Expedia. When they went to pick the car up, the agent told them it would be over twice what they had agreed to with Exoedia. He refused to look at their paperwork. They argued with him for an hour, until they had to leave or not be able to make it to their non-refundable hotel room and would lose it. They were forced to sign his "agreement" to get the car and keave. We teported this to Expedia immediately andwere assured the extra would be refunded. This was on Mar 16. We couldn't reach Thrifty car rental, but spoke to Expedia 3 different times, getting assurances each time that our agreement with them would be honored. On Mar 23, we called againThis time they had talked to Thrifty and we were told we would not get our money back. DO NOT do business with either company! You get no real help from Expedia and Thrifty is just a dirty company! I have been told, by Exoedia, that this has happened to other people, too (then telling me to not worry because they would take care of it). Total lies from both sides! STAY CLEAR OF EXOEDIA AND THRIFTY CAR RENTAL!!!

Rudest and slowest services. Dont plan on extending your reservation unless you want to pay exorbitant fee's.

Our flight was delayed and when we showed up to pick up our car there was no one available to assist us. Went to one of the other booths in the garage and the employees said "this happens often with thrifty company, they always do that". Dont use thrifty! We just booked another car with the company Avis/Budget, very helpful lady got us what we needed. Lady from avis/budget company told us that the companies are usually notified when there are delays in flights, so they usually wait for the clients but not thrifty. Never using thrifty for any car rentals again. We were left stranded in the airport.

Do NOT rent from here. Total FRAUD. I rented through Hotwire and was given the rental agreement paperwork with everything correct, $43.83/day total $239.08. When I returned the car, (on time with a full tank of gas and no damage other than a small chip in the windshield that was already there when I rented it and had mentioned to the rental people) no paper receipt was even offered. When I noticed a strange charge on my credit card and checked the email the price had been changed to $189/day, over $1000 total. When I called and spoke with the Tulsa manager he said that was the price that was showing and there was nothing he could do and I had to contact corporate. Did not get an answer at corporate even though it was during operating hours and keep getting sent around in circles. Filed a FRAUD report with my credit card company. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.

Wow, don't use thrifty! Booked thru hopper in November, paid for vehicle, read fine print says $500 deposit for use of debit card also... Fine... Arrive to pick up my car to leave for Georgia -- they require an airline ticket to rent! Ruined my whole Christmas.
