“I took an 02 Ford in for the AC not working and an oil leak. I was really happy driving home with an AC working in the car. They were reasonably priced and the work was great. The oil leaks were more extensive and they had the car for a day and a half. They informed me everything they had done and what my next repairs may be. Overall a great bunch of guys and the work was professional and dependable. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs some mechanical repairs.”

“I hadn't even had my 2011 Tahoe Z71 4x4, for a month when it started getting real jerky and not shifting right while I was visiting family in Tulsa. We live in Stillwater and didn't feel like we should try and drive back with the way it was handling. So I got online and started looking for a place to bring it in as I didn't want to pay to have it towed back to my mechanic in Stillwater. This was one of 3 places I decided to try after reading through reviews, I called all 3, this was the ONLY one of the 3 that was open and transparent on what they thought the issue sounded like, and an idea of what it would cost for repair over the phone. So my step father took it in the following week as I had to go back home. After checking it out I was informed that it was indeed what they thought, the Torque Converter had failed taking the transmission with it. The cost to replace the Converter and rebuild the transmission was what they had originally quoted me over the phone. They even wrote down the other codes that came up when checking so that I could have those issues fixed when I got it back home! It was done within a couple of weeks and I was able to get back to work fairly quickly. I have waited a few months to post my review to see how it handled as I have had both good and bad experiences with transmission rebuilds over the years. They did an excellent job however, and my Tahoe runs like new, if not better! It handled beautifully this winter in the snow while working. I will definitely keep them in mind in the future, with our other vehicles when the time comes.”

The prices were very reasonable & I'll be bringing our other vehicles here too!”

“I brought my car in here due to having issues associated with a failing transmission. I was fully expecting to pay thousands on replacing the transmission. Come to find out another repair shop did not add the correct amount of transmission fluid causing it to act the way it was. They could have charged me for a full transmission and I would have went along with it. But they didn’t, they were honest and I could not be more grateful!”

“Let me tell you a story. I had been in Tulsa overnight and was heading back to Arkansas. It was raining. My “low tire pressure” light came on. I got out, checked all the tires, and one was 10 lbs low. I searched Google for a Walmart Auto center, afraid I had a nail or something. On the way there I passed Lofton and saw that one of their bays was empty, so I pulled in. I walked in the door and a cute Maltese came over to greet me. I told the man at the counter the issue and he said “I’ll get you right in.” I sat in front of a large fish tank and watched the fish glide around. The dog jumped up in the chair beside me. I scratched its head. Ten minutes later, the man approached and told me it was a valve stem, they fixed it, and I was ready to go. “How much do I owe you?” I said. He laughed and handed over my keys and said, “Tell Arkansas hello and come back when you’ve got a real problem.” That’s the kind of experience you can only have at a local independent business. I may drive four hours to Tulsa for my next set of tires.”
“Honest and competent; two hard to find traits in the auto repair business. I recently took my vehicle to Alternative Automotive after hearing a slight metal scraping or chirping intermittently which seemed to be coming from the rear. Mike and his crew did a thorough job of troubleshooting all possibilities from worn brake pads, sluggish calipers, wheel bearings and even the differential. They could have run up a big tab unnecessarily repairing or replacing components not really needing to replaced. However, instead they verified all areas were working properly and I didn’t even new pads. They fine tuned a couple braking components and declared my car was good to go without worrying about a major breakdown. His bill was more than fair. I just found me a new shop for my automotive work”
