“I moved from Houston, Texas apparently 21 months ago. I looked for a gently used clothing store with low prices. I have encountered issues with this store and management worked with me. For the first time since I visited this store, I am happy to say all personnel were very professional and very helpful. Since my postings have been negative in the past, I was very satisfied with this store today. However, I do feel the prices are a little higher, however, I am alerted by text when there are sales. Thanks guys, keep up the good work.”

“I’ve bought from Jo and June MANY times (I’m obsessed) and not only is the quality and selection top notch, but the shipping is always super speedy and I love the sweet notes that are always included! My bank account may be sad each time I shop but my closet and emotions are so happy!”

“Great selection of vintage furniture! I was looking for a dining room table to match my 1930s house. Scott is great to work with and help you find what you need. It seems to be best to make an appointment via text or email to visit because the store sells online as well. See their website for text and email info.”

“Garnett goodwill, my beloved! Biggest book selection of any thrift store in town. They raised all book prices by a dollar each category recently, so I have to be way more discerning with what I buy, but that’s probably good for my cluttered home anyway. They did finally stop putting stickers on the books, which I’m so happy about! Those stickers were so hard to get off and would sometimes peel a little of the cover off on older books, so I’m so glad they’re gone! This location has way less media (movies, CDs, records) than they usually have at the GW on southwest boulevard, so I’d go to that one instead if that’s what you’re looking for. At least that’s how it’s been the last couple years. These things change over time at thrift stores. Great shoe selection at this one. And of course lots of clothing, and it’s separated into lots of categories and organized by size to make it super easy to find what you’re looking for. There are lots of knickknacks, kitchen stuff, electronics, and decor. I always find something neat that I didn’t know I needed. The staff is great too. Usually very friendly and helpful. I’ve never had a bad interaction with the staff there. And the bathrooms are usually quite clean (and they’re weirdly large and fancy). And there’s a water fountain too. I just really love goodwill, and this one is my favorite! :)”

“If your looking for high quality and reasonable prices this is the place for you. The staff is great to work with and available to give you the best service without the high presser. Never will I ever buy new again when I can go to Around The House for everything....and more.”

“Spent 5 hrs driving looking for a dress for my niece. This was the last stop of the day. Had the perfect dress. Small hole in the lace. Owner whipped out a needle fixed on the spot. Still got 30 percent off the dress.”

“I really like this place, but when I went there last a few days ago, the place smelled like they dumped a bottle of nasty perfume everywhere multiple times. I was in there just a few minutes and was getting a headache, I'm not sensitive to smells either, and the smell was on me the rest of the day until I took a shower. Now I'm scared to wash the dress I bought with anything else because the smell is so strong still after bringing it home. Please tone down whatever the heck yall did”
