HALITO!!!It was an honor to have discovered my Choctaw ancestry and be able to visit Choctaw Nation in the summer of 2023. This is a few pics I took. Upon entering the grounds you will find a tribute to my 7th generation great grand father Chief Pushmataha. He played a very important role when he reigned as Chief. He is buried in Washington D.C. alongside the President's of the United States. His grand daughter Aihnichih "Nikki" Ohoyo married my 5th generation grandfather General James Garland. His son Joseph Gent Garland and grandson William Greenwood Garland went on and served as Judges on the Choctaw tribal council. It was such an honor to walk through the halls and sit in the courtroom where they all served in. Also pictured is my 5th generation great Uncle Chief Samuel Garland. His photos can be found on the 2nd floor of the museum. I drove 12 hours to experience this and will consider this the BEST trip of my life! This trip humbled me and now I am Choctaw Proud!

This is a very clean museum. It is small but definitely a significant piece of Choctaws modern history. The gift shop is great, and the staff is very nice.Check it out if you're in the area. It's definitely worth it if you are going for labor day.

Stop by here to check out the new Choctaw History trail and War Memorial trail that is located on the Museum grounds. This walking trail has several marker that tell the history of the Choctaw Nation and Marker of the Choctaw that fought for this country. So even if the museum is closed you can still stop by and take a look around. Well worth the time.

Although we visited on a rainy Sunday and knew it was closed on Sundays, we had a wonderful experience. Beautiful grounds, large village recreation and interesting statues/information.

Amazing trading platform, easy to use and quick withdrawal. I have been using this platform together with the most recommended forex strategy on the internet from mrs Rebecca Wayne and so far i have no complains, making close to $7000-$15000 on a weekly basis. She is really great, best in his field and unique among others. i am thankful and want you all to partake from his good works. Contact her via Email:

It's free to enter the museum and look around. The museum tells the history of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma through dioramas, photos, and art exhibits. The newer Choctaw Cultural Center in Durant does a much better job of this, and is probably more entertaining for kids. However, this smaller-sized museum has the authenticity and history of the original Choctaw National Capitol building, and perhaps does a better job of portraying the individual lives of important Choctaw leaders. Definitely a "must see" for anyone interested in learning about Choctaw history.

It will be bad to keep this alone to myself. I came across the best Forex, Crypto and Binary expert ever, in person of Mrs SHEILA BRATTON, who really helped me to invest and managed my trade account. she is very honest and diligent in her work. All I did was invest $1000 and within 7 days he made $6,800 profit for me. You can also invest safely with her and come back to thank me later. there are no hidden charges, and withdrawals are made directly to your bank account. Great place, tons of history!. Went there in November 2021. Had a little strange experience, there was just me, my daughters and the two employees down stairs that were cleaning. When my daughters and I went to the second floor a door next to us slammed shut. After we walked around, we went down stairs and I asked the two employees if there was anyone else in the building and they said just the two of them and my daughters and I.
