Kum & Go is a very busy and convenient stop right before the toll road, often used as a travel pitstop. The building has a great view of the highway and offers two restaurant choices upstairs, including a McDonald's, though its kiosks were closed down. There is also a gift shop upstairs. The layout is kind of chaotic and poorly designed, leaving customers unsure where to line up. The selection of food like sandwiches, salads, wraps, and fruit can look old and very unappealing, with a very poor selection when busy. However, the store is clean with clean restrooms, great coffee, and fast checkout. Employees are friendly and honest. A pro-tip is to be careful when returning downstairs, as each side is identical and it is easy to get disoriented. Overall, it is a decent and interesting, though sometimes sad, place for a break.
Nice stop with 2 restaurant choices. The fact that you can walk upstairs and over I-44 makes for a great place to stretch after a long ride. Bathrooms were clean. The food (salads, wraps, fruit etc) at the gas station looked old and very unappealing.
