“Fast pumps, often the best price in town. Was disappointed on my last visit...wasn't sure why worker seemed to be scowling and growling visibly through the door window at me as I pulled up at 10:35 pm...thought it was mistaken identity...but then understood it all as she shut off the lights at 10:41pm as I shut my door. Sneaking out earlier than the 11p posted closing time, and I stalled her plans! This is the only problem I've had with this location so far.”

“The girls that served us today were very kind and sweet! Everything was clean, bathrooms, etc. And you can definitely tell they keep their coffee and cream dispensers clean, fresh, and filled which is hard to find at other gas stations but definitely a relief when tired from driving. Definitely a perfect stop on the road!”

“The young girl who worked the evening shift was really helpful! I can’t remember what he name was all I can remember it started with a J I’ve seen her almost every time I go there and she always is in a good mood and controls the crowd of people. Even the bathrooms looked clean! Amazed how she can keep the store and the people under control. She has to be my favorite cashier there. My husband also will only order the pizza if she’s the one cooking. She seems to be the only one who makes it right. The boy that working in the kitchen that is slim and has curly hair. It’s always all over his face. He really needs to wear a hair net with it being that long. And he always seems to Have a slight smell like his hygiene isn’t the best. It just makes my husband ify on getting anything when he does the cooking. It seemed like they also have a new kid upfront it was his first day and he did really good. The same girl was also training him ! I hope she sticks around! My husband and I will drive the extra way to woodshed to see her and order a great pizza and the store and gas prices are always great !”

At one time there wasn't a gigantic McDonald's up top but there has always been food available upstairs. It's a super convenient stop right before the toll depending on your direction because the cash register in the Kum& Go downstairs is set up so that cash back is available with purchase as a different option to the fee charging ATM that they have inside. And just a little pro-tip: If you go upstairs for food make very sure to go back down the correct side (each is identical) or you will totally freak out when you go outside and don't see your vehicle. Speaking from experience. This has been a travel pitstop for me since childhood growing up in Springfield, MO.”
