I tried calling into the bank today and was surprised to have such a difficult time reaching an actual person to speak with in regards of my account. What happened to a live person, I dont mind the prompts but Arvest Bank needs to have a better person to person customer services for their phone service needs. I have been on hold for 26 min at this point just waiting for a live person. NO GOOD!!!

Severe lack of customer service when it comes to home loans. Thinking maybe I should try else where. The loan agent is never heard from and the assistant doesn't have time to answer my question when you finally figure out which branch she is at.

Takes forever to get an answer to any questions you have unless you can make it to the physical bank. They have secure messages on the app that always takes until the next day to get a reply no matter if it's a weekday or Saturday when you send the message. Just to make matters worse with that, it has only actually been a helpful response and not way off subject 2 or 3 times, and I have had to ask a lot of questions. Almost as if they don't actually take the time to look at all of the messages. Like they are being automated. Also like another review that I saw on here its almost as if they couldn't care less to resolve a situation where your card information has been stolen and used. I am currently going through that now and am still waiting to see positive results. I filed 2 disputes at the same time and have only been compensated for 1, and was told I would be kept informed about the situation, and was also told it would take 10 days but that wasn't true. The only time I hear anything is when i call and after about 20 or 30 minutes they finally give me a little information about it. Or if I feel like typing out a question and wait till the next day to get an answer that may or may not be actually helpful. I am banking with them currently and have tried to mention my complaints but every time I tried to post it there was an error so I am hoping that they actually check there reviews so that they can hopefully make some changes cause I really haven't read a lot of good reviews about this bank.

Customers beware your money is not safe at Avest. Picture this you loose your debit card. You report the lost card and then you are told that your card has been used multiple times resulting overdrafts to your account. You go into the bank and file appropriate papers related to the fraudulent activities on your account. And at this time the bank issues you another debit card. Days later you check you account and find that your account was now ovetdrafted by nearly $1000. The same account that you reported fraudulent activity on, the bank allowed fraudulent checks to be paid via wire transfers. With police report and all other papers in hand and having spoken to persons in the banks own fraud division (Who inform me that no checks should have been paid via wire transfer on an account which was already flagged with fraudulent activities.) But they did pay them and my paycheck which was direct deposited was to to cover these fraudulent charges and I was left penniless. Then to make matters worst Advest bank officials sent a notification to the credit bureau of an outstanding debt bringing my credit score nearly 100 Pont's. This unreal as it has been less then two weeks of the initial fraud. This bank is not playing by the rules. This is blatant unfair banking polices and fraudulent credit reporting. They have a responsible to take normal steps to protect your money and mine. Well they failed and now using unfair tactics to cover up the fact that they have not done due diligence in protecting my money. And YOU COULD BE NEXT!!!!!

I love that it has later hours than my other bank,and the people are friendly. They almost always send a treat out for my little dog. Also, they are open til 1pm Saturdays, and they have a bank inside the coweta Walmart that's open until 4 on Saturday

Was with Arvest for 10+ years and when we had a fraudulent charge on our account it was a nightmare to get fixed... Almost a month and many overdraft fees later they finally refunded the fraudulent charge. We had to fight to get the overdraft fees payed and so far they still haven't paid them!

New Accounts Manager Miss Rachel Gordon, was more than just helpful. Other than the entire businesses very welcoming warmth to all.
