“Caught them on Instagram and knew I had to come and check out their selection. It’s officially my new go to thrifting spot. Was giddy with the selection of statement jackets and hats. Not many thrift stores have quality finds. If you’re looking for a dress for literally any occasion, there’s one for you here. Their bridal selection has items less than $500.There wasn’t a single price tag that I gawked at. Everything is priced incredibly well so you know you’re getting a steal. Brands I saw on my first visit: Theory, Moschino, MK, Wilfred, Danier, Sunday Best.5-star customer service as well. Fitting rooms available. Staff are friendly and helpful in finding what you need or giving you a zip up when you need it ?.”

“This is probably the only Plato’s I’ve been to that actually cares about their customer service. The workers are very polite and welcoming. In terms of buying, they tend to pass off quite a few and I usually leave with most of my bags. Wait times are decent, usually 40mins to an hour.”

“I use to work here and some of these reviews are actually a little disturbing. So for everyone who wants to know some truth here it is..1. Shoes do not get glued back together!2. Items are priced differently depending on the make, quality and the condition it's in. Therefore two of the same items can be totally different because of the condition it's in. You get what you pay for right!?4. Anything that is ripped or has holes are not to be sold, if a customer mentions it for a lower price it will not be accepted as the clothing is not worth selling with rips, or holes. And that is not something they want there customers buying.5. Policy is children must be supervised, it is not the employees fault that this policy is enforced, they didn't make these rules, but remember it is there job to follow those rules that were made out for them. Again they are jsut doing there jobs just like anyone else would do at there job following the rules. Obviously this rule was put into place as others have ruined it for the ones who's children are well behaved but what could you do. So don't blame the employees for doing there job. (I have a child as well so I understand the frustration, but it's not the end of the world.6. Every item that goes into the fitting room is to be counted when it goes into the change room and when it comes out, and this is enforced so things are not stolen. Again not the employees choice it's there job to do so.7. Things may have went up in price, but as the market goes up with everything so does every other business, but there clothes are not more then brand new clothes of there name brand. Such as ya maybe you'll buy Lululemon for $20 here, but you won't find lululemons for $20 at the actual store there pants start at $100. But yes of course you can go buy $20 brand new Walmart pants but they aren't the same quality of lululemons here used or not. So if you want to go buy brand new Walmart clothes go for it no one is stopping you.8. They don't do returns on sale days as it's way to busy. Therefore come before that day or after.Lastly, the employees in there are doing a wonderful job especially linda, she's my favorite, always so nice and offers help when I need to find things and very respectful. Even working with her, she had always been so nice and kind to not only me but the customers as well.”

“My wife and I went into the Whitby location today (August 6, 2023) as she was wanting to try and sell some of our daughters old clothes from when she was a baby. We had two boxes of clothes we brought in but it seemed like other people had the same idea as us as there were many other boxes there too. The ladies working today were so pleasant, they seemed to actually enjoy interacting with us and the other people in the store. We signed our stuff in and left to complete a few other errands. We expected it to be a few hours before we got a text message saying they were done looking through our belongings since the workers looked like they were swimming in clothes but we received a text in just over an hour. When we went back to the store they informed us due to the amount of baby clothes people try and sell them on a daily basis, they are extremely selective. I think my wife sold them 25 items for like $20. At the end of the day, we weren't disappointed. We were going to donate the clothing to Value Village anyway. Something was better than nothing.I've read some of the other reviews and people need to understand the store needs to make money too so you're not going to get top dollar for what you try and sell and are going to take what they are in need of. Try Kijiji if you want more money for your stuff.”
