“After awhile of them trusting you for being a good customer because I dress the same as the shop lifters I am a recovering alcoholic and addict. So I understand where they are coming from. Compared to other stores these guys do their job great: makes it impossible for anyone to steal.anyways after awhile of them trusting you they leave you alone to wonder the store to for you to make your picks.”
“Forever thankful for this store. My father, new to the city, no English, went for a walk and his sugar level suddenly dropped down. He found this store and came in asking for help. The owner didn’t hesitate to help and gifted him some candies and literally saved him. After finding my dad I went back to pay the candies and to say thank you. The owner did not accept the payment. “I go there often for a pickup of snacks and coffee essentials. Staff are nice - keep the store clean, stocked and ready to attend. It's unfortunate the area attracts travellers; some nice but you can tell the staff have to keep a sharp eye for theft and shoo the loiters”

“It is located on the Paris street in Sudbury. They have different varieties of confectionery , candy varieties , wagers and chips varieties for the customers in the nearby houses and condos. It helps the customer to get emergency supply of milk and other essential things.”

“I am shocked by the negative reviews Pinto's received. I have been shopping at this corner store since it was IGA/Grotolli's in the 1960s. I've known the owners, Theresa and her late husband, Viviano, all my life. After 40+ years of living in Toronto and Europe, I've had to move home with my aging mother. I still go to this store almost daily for cigarettes and/or staples and/or clocks, sewing supplies or other obscure things you'd find at any good dollar store. To say it's disorganized is ridiculous. Yes, it's cramped because Theresa stocks everything. If you can't find something, just ask her or another staff member because they all know where everything is to the square inch. I've gone almost daily for 2 years and I've never seen a mouse or a cockroach or any hint of one! Nor have I bought anything that wasn't fresh. Is it a bit rundown? Of course. This store opened as an IGA over 60 years ago. It's not trendy or fussy and Theresa isn't spending her money on making it look like a luxury boutique. She spends it on great staff, making sure her shelves are stocked and that her front steps are salted, shovelled and safe. The staff are all terrific, knowledgeable and friendly. If you're looking for something fancy, shop at Whole Foods in Beverly Hills or Harrods in London -- which I've done. If you want a great local store with amazing staff and almost everything you need, you can't go wrong with Pinto's. Just leave your snobbery outside.”

“I love my circle K!!I'm there at 7am for my fresh coffee ( which by the way , you make yourself , to your own perfection) PLUS...if you ask for a simple " C/K COFFEE card. You get a punch-out for each coffee. After 5 , your 6th is free!!!!Refills are $1.04 , and thats for a large!!Can't say enough good things.”
