About Stedmans V & S department store
Stedmans V & S department store is a unique stop in downtown Bancroft, reminiscent of the old shopping days. The store has everything you would possibly need, including fabric, yarn, clothes, and shoes. Prices are very reasonable, with some good deals and items lower than other stores, though some can be pricey. The staff are polite, pleasant, cheerful, friendly, and very helpful. It is definitely worth the visit, offering a trip back in time and a little bit of everything for a small town.

Our favourite store to shop in whenever we are in the area. Staff are exceptionally friendly. Store is stocked with anything and everything you could ever need. Our best find was a game I had as a child; I had never seen it in stores anywhere else, so it came home with us and is a valued treasure now.
