The Burlington Animal Shelter provides care and finds homes for animals including dogs, birds, and ducklings. The staff are very friendly, helpful, kind, caring, and incredibly helpful. They take care about the animals and take time to ensure they are placed in a good home. They walk, train, and socialize them. The shelter works closely with a rehabilitation center for wildlife. They locate owner information from microchips and are accommodating even when closed to the public. Animals from the shelter are described as wonderful companions who provide so much joy. The shelter helps to fill a void and gives animals a new forever home.

My family and I went to BAS to meet Clark who became our sweetest cat. The staff are very accomodating and so nice. Thanks Jenna for making the adoption process easy and smooth. Clark is a very social cat. He made our day more meaningful. I just hope we are not spoiling him too much.

I adopted Bruce , a four year old German Shepherd in December 2023. The shelter takes care about the animals & takes time to ensure they are placed in a good home. They also walk, train and socialize them. I am so impressed with them & i love my Brucy ❤️.

Great place, staff friendly and knowledgeable the pets they have for adoptionWe have adopted 2 senior dogs in the past 3 years (Indy & Duke).Both are awesome pets. Will be adopting from them again.
