Daniel's NOFRILLS in Burlington is a convenient and generally clean grocery store with ample parking and helpful staff. It offers a good selection of sale products, making it a popular choice for affordable groceries in the area. However, the store faces challenges with product supply and inventory, largely due to limited space and increasing population from new high-rise developments downtown. This sometimes results in less fresh or rotten produce on shelves, and staff efforts to keep racks stocked can be inconsistent. The store's quality and pricing have declined since the previous owner, with prices now comparable to other major stores like Longos and Fortinos, but without the same level of quality. Customers have noted that the store used to be better under the original owner, who treated staff like family. Today, some feel the policies and management could improve, especially regarding produce freshness and customer service. Despite these issues, the store remains a convenient option, especially during sales, and is appreciated for its affordability and location near Lake Shore and Brant Street. Overall, it is a decent spot for grocery shopping, but improvements in product quality and customer experience would enhance its reputation.
It's a smaller no frills, very clean and organized. The strawberries were so sweet 😋

Great location downtown to get your errands done! The surprising, vast, music selection keeps me in the store longer! It is great to hear new music. Easy to find what you need. Spacious store and closeby from home.
