“Great place to buy traditional Dutch food items ranging from fresh meats to dessert treats and breads. If you're of Dutch descent (like me) and have favourite foods your Mom prepared or desserts you got as a kid you'll likely find them here. For me, something as simple as King peppermints are a tasty memory. You'll find them here. Breakfast items like rusks and breakfast cake are there too. If your Dutch language is shaky there are language instruction books for your assistance.”

“Very good if you are looking for fresh millet flour. The eatery inside store is good. It serves good Raj kachori. It also gives very good quantity of curries for the price. The taste of curries is also good. Cutting out one star for freshness of green vegetables, i guess it will improve once there is more footfall.”

“Great location, really accommodating hours, kind staff, and a wonderful selection. I love their vegan options as well as classic British food. My Nana is British, and I have grabbed her all sorts of goodies that she misses. Love the frozen section as I can by food I love that is not available in Canadian stores. They always have sales on if you want to try things you have not before. It makes me so happy to see items I have bought when visiting family in the UK. I love this place and highly recommend it to anyone I know who loves/misses British foods, snacks, or sweets. Their baked items are lovely as well.”

“It always has basic foods but does not have any pharmacist sinci it is near to shoppers. Unfortunately, they move their store to a new location at intersection of New St and Burloak Line so the area will be empty anf far from stores for several years.”

“Great product, excellent and entertaining staff! Never in my life did I think I would be so entertained by an enthusiastic 16 year old rocking the late shift at Bulk Barn. Kids a comic genius and hero! 5/7, perfect score!”

“I went to Samir's store today to buy meat, it was of good quality, and the seller in that section, Mr. Gheis, was so friendly and helped me a lot in buying the best meat. I thank him. I will definitely go there more often.”

“They have really updated the store. It looks more pleasant. But the shelves are really high now and I have a hard time reaching items. I have to ask someone for help.”

“Good location, close to QEW. Has everything you need from groceries to clothing to household items. They have a large offering of hot food from sandwiches to pizza to salmon and more. They also have a cafe for all your coffee and dessert needs. They bake bread and desserts in store, I bought the multigrain today it was ok, I prefer Commissos in Niagara Falls better. They also have a good assortment of fruits and vegetables and all looked good quality. The prices are a little more than a Food Basics but you aren’t going to Fortinos based on price, you are looking for quality and selection, which they offer. If you are in the area check them out for groceries and Italian foods.”

“I simply love the fact that all the breads and bakery are freshly baked daily. It's variety of pre cooked food and wide selection of groceries. Perfect place for a family.”

“Good competition against Whole Foods but Goodness Me lacks some of the items you’ll find at WF. GM is a much smaller store but has unique items that WF does not have, so if you’re looking for variety, come here!!One minor downside is that the Hot Bar is not self serve so you’re at the mercy of the mood of whoever is scooping your food.I wish there were some more refrigerated coffee options too, maybe they can look into that for 2024.”

“Very big store for South Asian communities. Owner may be very daring man. Paying big rent for this building infront of the Costco. He have lots of South Asian products with friendly staffs. But saddest part is lots of inventories are not moving fast. That's called sleeping inventories and sleeping money. It will kill the business. Also it will create expired products. Customers will avoid coming. Also another sadest part is high number of shop lifting. Specially woman make up products. I feel personally sorry for this Owner. Good luck”

“SO update I continue shopping here 1 to 3 times per month and continue to find great deals - hotdog weiners for less than $2, large fresh calabrese baguettes for $1.49 -- left with 3 bags of groceries for $45 -- unusual these days!! Great value for your money. I enjoy shopping here regularly. Could be a supplier issue, but a little disappointed recently that flyer feature items, i.e. Campbells Soup (other than chicken noodle) and Schneiders Bologna (BB date was 3 days from now) were unavailable. Could just be that these items are snapped up quickly with the increase in food costs...??‍♀️”

“We weren't expecting to go grocery shopping but since we were in the area, we dropped by this Metro. This one has a built-in Starbucks with a good amount of seating that is right between the cafe and the hot food counters. It would be a nice place to grab a quick lunch. They do have a restroom in this Metro but there is only one stall. It was a little messy when I got in there as there was toilet paper all over the floor but it wasn't gross if that makes any sense. The rest of the store was much nicer! There were a lot of staff working that were restocking and organizing shelves. The meat and seafood counters had lots of attendants so there weren't any lines at either. At checkout, I noticed that the conveyor belt had signage on it saying when it was last sanitized which was interesting. They had some really good deals on. So much so that a few things were completely cleaned out. The Johnsonville sausages were on sale for cheaper than the store brand and the mild Italian flavour was all gone. I had to settle for the hot Italian sausage, pray for my wimpy taste buds! While browsing we also saw other neat deals like new (?) Keurig cold brew pods on sale and Kraft Peanut butter (which was also cleaned out!). The Compliments stuff is usually pretty well priced so there were options. Honestly after my shop, I was kind of surprised at the register when my bill came in at a not so shocking amount. Thanks Metro!”

“I have been shopping here for close to 2 years. I have observed improvements in Customer Service and the quality and variety of their produce which are important to me. Having shopped at other No Frills in the GTA region that are bigger and cater to a more diverse ethnic population, I can't complain too much about the lack of variety in their dry goods. I like that No Frills provides price matching and rainchecks. My rating is really 3 1/2 stars but there is no 1/2 star available.”

“Was at this store Saturday Feb 25th around 230pm, I lost my wedding ring, I want to thank all the staff that helped me look for it. Later only to find out it was in one of my bags. Thank you for your wonderful service. You are the best.”

“I lost my wallet there and one of the ladies found me on social media and had me return for my wallet. All the cash was still in my wallet and they would not accept a reward. Thank you for your honesty. I bought a meal and some warm gloves for a homeless guy while thinking about the team there that was honest and did good. Thank you all.”
