“This is a nice Food Basics located in the city of Burlington, by the Lakeshore road. The store is very clean and organized well. The interior looks soothing. You will always find good deals in Food Basics. I was looking for eggnog and this store had them. The staff working there were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this grocery store.”

That branch not like Hamilton as fresh meat. But this branch you will not find a fresh meat It's more than 5 days old and black also they don't have a special professional butcher to drive the section for better marketing to sell more and keep fresh. They missing a lot for promotion. Now a day's we going to Hamilton branch for better and fresher meat.”

“First time visiting Food Basics, we came to buy outdoor plants (which were of great quality and well priced). I tried to buy some face masks for gardening, but they didn’t stock any. When I asked the young gentleman (Ethan), rather than simply saying we don’t have any, he asked how many I needed, two minutes later he returned with a mask from their own office stash. That’s incredible service, hence we’ll be back.”

“They have a wide variety of dutch snacks and treats. Staff have always been very friendly. I will say that I often find that their products are expired or near expiry which can be really disappointing. So I've had to be careful to read the dates on stuff before purchasing. If this issue was solved it would be 5 stars!”
