Lots of parking available. New self checkout machines are fairly simple to use, however do not seem to help with getting thru the lineup any faster, actually seems to slow things down.

Do not apply for a job at this location. I watched a young woman Deb up front have to deal with disgusting racism and a pink hair employee heard it all and ignored it. I was shocked. I asked her if she was okay, broke my heart when she replied with this is the 3rd time today. How anyone can watch their co-workers go through this and say nothing should be suspended.
I’m in the store often she is so helpful and very sweet. Michaels needs to do better! Also your self check is garbage.

Lovely ladies to help on the floor. Cash was humiliating. I was forced to use self checkout after firmly sharing that I’d rather wait for a cashier. She literally took the items from my hand while everyone watched and said she would do it and then told me to pay. I cried when I left. Please just respect your customers wishes.

Very large store with good selection in many crafts or hobbies. A little pricey but they have decent sales and coupons.
Update:
I wrote the above review six years ago and today I was quite surprised that in my opinion it's just not worth me going there anymore. I was looking for different colour ribbons and the choices were not great at all. They used to have tons of really great buttons to choose from and now there's just a couple of bags of browns and blacks. It was very frustrating because I wanted to ask if there was any more of these but there was no one to be found to ask. I had to go into the framing place and ask the girl there. I actually went to the store looking for sewing items but couldn't find much. I'm sure a lot of people that are looking for things other than what I was looking for may be very happy with this store but it's just not for me anymore.

Used to be a straight forward store to shop in. Now they have completely removed cashiers, so there is no guaranteed place to find someone. I needed some spray paint and did 2 laps of the store before I found someone.
Cash registers are annoying, and prompt you to make an account with no obvious way to dismiss it. Not sure how one is able to pay with cash even if they wanted to. Being on camera while you pay is understandable but for some reason uncomfortable, feels like Im on trial or something.
Disappointed in the direction of stores in general to be fair. I highly doubt the savings of removing cashiers was passed on to us.

Always liked this store, but was just there yesterday & now it's SELF CHECKOUT! What the hell? I like to occasionally ask a question, exchange pleasantries etc, but NO, they had to go there!! Yuck!Also, why are there some coupons online only & not for an instore shopper? Hate that & it's unfair!The two other shoppers were not happy about the change either!
