Very good public library nearly as good as the Mississippi Mills one in Almonte. Attractive setting and a wide selection of materials for children and adults. Lots of parking outside and conveniently located in the town centre.

A wonderful community hub, my family uses the facility weekly. Lots of beautiful books for children - and activities to keep kids busy (from crafts, to iSpy, etc.) More than anything the staff are all so wonderful, welcoming and helpful.

(Translated by Google) It will undoubtedly be wonderful to spend time in this very clean place. Parking at the entrance gate up to 4 hours only for those with permission. However, if you are not allowed or labeled on the street, you can use the parking lot for up to 2 hours. There is no parking fee during this time. The toilet on the right of the entrance to the library is very clean.(Original)Oldukça temiz olan bu yerde zaman geçirmek şüphesiz muhteşem olacaktır. Giriş kapısı tarafında oto park 4 saate kadar sadece izinli olanlar için. Ancak cadde üzerinde izinli yada etiketli değilseniz 2 saate kadar otoparkı kullanabilirsiniz. Very good local library, a great place for anyone to pick up a book and sit for a while. The staff is awesome and very knowledgeable.

While they will happily try to get books in from other branches, it's best to return a book in person rather than the drop box. I had to go get a book off the shelf to prove it was returned. Also, don't photocopy stuff here, it's bad quality (stuff cut off/missed) and overpriced.

The carleton place library is a place I have gone my whole life. The hours aren't that good though as far as daytime goes.
