I too was scammed.
We refueled at this gas station twice.
The first was $20 and the second was $20 as the maximum, which was calculated to be approximately $5.
However, when I came to the hotel and checked, I found that an additional $20 had been paid twice.
That means I paid $40 extra at this gas station.
After refueling, we went into this gas station to use the restroom, and it felt strange the way the male employee looked at us.
After coming out of the bathroom, a male employee said 'ni hao' to us. (They must have been pranking us after scamming us. We clearly stated that our nationality is from a country other than China.)
This gas station scammed us because they knew we were Asian.
When I traveled to New Zealand earlier this year, I had no problems with gas stations. Maybe Canada's standards are lower than New Zealand's?
I don't know if you, the person who got scammed, will read this, but this last sentence is for you, so read it carefully.
You have used dirty means to steal money from people who earned it honestly. You've scammed $40, but more importantly, you've scammed your conscience. This won't be the first time you've behaved like this in your life. I think you will realize that at the end of your life, perhaps when you are 70 or 80 years old, you will look back on your life from a hospital bed or at home. Your past life was a life of fraud. At the threshold of death, it is too late to regret your mistakes, and you cannot bear the thought of ending your life in misery. That's your life.
We spend our money traveling around the world, and you make a living by scamming people inside these gas stations. With the money you swindled, you can spend happy moments eating snacks, drinking beer, and watching Netflix, but that happiness is short-lived.
If you continue to live like this, you will spend the rest of your life cheating at gas stations. You don't know how to make money, you don't know how to save up capital to travel around the world or buy a yacht and enjoy the Great Lakes. They will just scam a few tens of dollars, make a living from time to time, and then die. After death, human life is reduced to a handful of ash or eaten by ants or bacteria. Why do we live like that? You only live once, live proudly and confidently, and then think about what kind of things you can leave to your descendants before leaving. For the sake of this Earth, which has had an infinite history, and the Earth that will continue to build an infinite history in the future, you are only defrauding us in a small gas station. It's a pathetic life. Live a life worth living. If you look back and reflect on yourself, you will have a chance. Choose wisely.

I got scammed !!!
I went in to pay for my gas, the price was 40$. I went home, looked in my bank account and saw that they took double the price! When I was there, the lady behind the counter told me the first time I swiped my card that the transaction didn't work, so I tried again.
When I went to confront them, they kept insisting that it's not true, that it was the machine. I had the proof in my hands, they took 80$. But "no"... they could of at least owned up to it but they didn't. They are scammers don't thrust them!!!

Drove past this station on a trip with friends on Monday April 29th, in which one of the girls went inside to get cigarettes. The girl at the counter, upon asking for ID, then claimed that our friend did not look like her ID, mentioning she looked thinner in the ID and gained some weight. When a second friend went in asking to speak to a manager, it turned out the girl at the cash was the manager on the floor. It is highly unprofessional to make comments of people’s appearances at any point in life, especially when in a managerial and position to represent your place of work. We all work jobs in industries that also require asking clients for ID and never could any of us imagine being as rude and lack professionalism to make a statement like that.

Most of the staff here are pleasant. Like any other convenienc store, their prices are through the roof. Usually their gas prices are lower than Ottawa but last week they went up 11 cents per litre from morning to afternoon. That's UNFAIR. Be informed and watch GasBuddy. I never pay at the pump because some of them are pay at the pump only and there is no sinadge indicating which ones. I can usually get in and out pretty quick. Check your reciept! I was overcharged and the owner refused to even look into it, let alone return my money!

Went in to purchase some drinks at the gas station and had to wait 15 minutes before giving up and leaving because no one came to the counter. No employee in sight.
