“I had an outstanding experience at the Winners/HomeSense location in Chatham and wanted to give a big shoutout to Lindsey and Kelley for their exceptional customer service.

I had bought a pair of earrings from the Windsor location, and unfortunately, they broke after just four days. To make matters worse, they were final sale, and I no longer had the receipt or tags—just the original box. I honestly thought I was out of luck.

When I explained my situation to Will, the manager, he was incredibly understanding and told me to bring them in anyway. Once I arrived at the Chatham store, Lindsey and Kelley went above and beyond to help me. Despite the earrings being final sale and me not having proof of purchase, they worked with me and issued a gift card.

I was blown away—most places wouldn’t have done anything under those circumstances, but they truly went the extra mile. That kind of customer care is rare these days and deserves recognition.

“Easy to locate. Lots of free parking and is wheelchair accessible. Reasonable prices. Lots of Christmas decor and gift/stocking stuffer ideas. Staff are very pleasant and helpful.”

“We went to Giant Tiger in Chatham, cause it's a bigger store offering more choices. We were looking for scrub outfit bottoms with a cuffed leg. Found a couple pairs, plus picked up some great grocery items. Raisin bread was $3, salads were under $2, and the 710 mls x6 diet coke were $3.99 always great prices at Giant Tiger. Located with mall parking and accessible to wheelchair and close wheelchair parking. ( Prices vary week to week, so watch for your Wednesday flyer)”

“The convenience store at this gas station has good service, but what impressed me the most was the fact that they have the cleanest restroom of all the stations I’ve visited — always very clean. Congratulations to the employees who keep it that way. Truly impressive.”

“Yesterday, while driving home to Ottawa from Kitchener, we were horrified to discover that our windshield wipers suddenly stopped working. In the middle of winter, that’s no small problem. We pulled into Canadian Tire, assuming that even if they could help us, we’d be facing a long wait.

That’s where Sam—one of the receptionists—came to the rescue. She was kind, calm, and genuinely empathetic to our situation. Even though the shop was busy, she assured us she would try to get the car looked at. True to her word, we were taken care of with very little wait time.

While we waited, Sam cheerfully chatted with us (and even our dog!) while still managing the front desk with professionalism and grace. Shortly after, the service advisor, Adam, explained the issue clearly and had the wiper assembly working again in no time.

To the owner: put Sam and Adam in a cloning machine and run off half a dozen. Exceptional service like this deserves to be recognized. Thank you very much!”
