“We were in need of a new gas range quickly since our 4 year Samsung range was done.After being let down on an early delivery date by another store (who delayed an extra week that we could not agree to) we cancelled that order and visited Chatterson's store. With great help from Carrie, who quickly understood our situation, she recommended a gas range that would accommodate our urgent timing.It was delivered a week later along with the coordinated gas fitter to disconnect the old and connect the new range. We were back in business on December 22!Carrie, and other staff we talked to were extremely helpful and it was great to get that kind of personal attention and service. This includes the delivery guys too.Thank you Chatterson's for coming through for us. We now know where to shop for other appliances we will need sooner or later. Great choices available.”

“My wife and I absolutely LOVE our bedroom furniture set from Penwood’s Furnture in Collingwood. The bed frame, including headboard and footboard, look gorgeous in the honey-coloured maple stain we chose, as do the two dressers and night tables. The craftsmanship is outstanding. The drawers glide open and shut effortlessly and the choices of handles allowed us to finish our design perfectly. I really like how we could customize the night tables. One drawer and one shelf are just right. Everything is so well made, we have truly found our “forever furniture” store! Thank you, Penwood’s, for making us so happy!”

“Loved this thriftstore, LOVED IT!!The furniture though 2nd hand, one will never know. There isn't that accompanying smell that is usually within thriftstores. This store is spacious, open, with truly beautiful pieces.Furniture, cushions, draperies, Wantage iron headboards, carpets, vintage jewelery, armoire, sidetables, sofas, patio furniture, oh so many!!I also like the pricing scale they have where they show you the pricing over the years.Covid precautions in place, masks 6o be worn.The store is spacious and clean. The staff is super friendly and very awesome. I had a great time.TIP: Be sure to drive a truck or van and keep a dolly on hand because you will need to wheel those pieces out of there.”

“We were referred by a family friend to Michael C. at the Collingwood Leon’s when it came time to furnish our cottage in Meaford. Upon meeting Michael, we instantly hit it off and he was honest and candid in every question we had. He listened to any concern we had (even the ones asked by my kids) and didn’t try to sell us something we didn’t need. If it was something we didn’t like, he didn’t push. He helped us narrow the list and started us showing all the options that met our criteria. He would demonstrate the versatility of the products, and when we had the rare question that he couldn’t answer – he would quickly go and do the research to get is the info. We picked out several products and he made sure to get us the very best price for everything combined. We would come in a few times after that, and we added a bit more to the order. Michael still managed to get us a great price, and coordinate the delivery with the existing order. After making our deposit, Michael made sure to keep in touch with us and give us updates.As we got closer to the delivery date, we went in to look at getting a TV. Michael wasn’t there and the rest of the team was just as good. We asked about our existing order, and there was an issue with what was expected with the delivery. The manager, Scott R. called us personally told us that one of the beds were damaged at the warehouse. While we knew this was not their fault, we told Scott that this caused us an issue because it meant we were without sleeping arrangements. Scott was proactive enough to already have a solution to deliver a temporary bed frame along with the rest of the sets, so that my son would have a place to sleep. We really appreciated the fact that Scott had a solution!The delivery date came, and there were a lot of different pieces that came in the truck and they did the move and set up. While the delivery guys were bringing things in, they had no problem pausing to move the truck to make sure any neighbours could easily get out their own cars when needed. During the delivery there was one nightstand that was damaged in the back. The delivery guys understood that we did not want to accept that piece, and did not try to force it on us. They took it back without any dispute. Unfortunately, the delivery guys damaged one of the walls and so we took pictures (and so did the delivery guys). We got in touch with the appropriate department and we were told of the process to make a claim on the repair. Once we provided the needed info, Nikita L was quick to respond and to address the matter to our complete satisfaction.We are now awaiting the delivery of the replacement nightstand and the permanent bedframe in the coming weeks. We also have been compensated for the damage to the wall. The experience at Leon’s Collingwood has been exemplary from Day 1 and they have taken care of us like we were VIP customers. They have shown that they want us to be satisfied with our purchases and we have definitely become long-term customers. Leon’s Collingwood is now our first stop for any purchases!”
