Don't use BMO! Choose any other back and don't waste your time. I've had my card replaced multiple times and it still doesn't work, I asked them about incorrect fees they took out and they refused to return the stolen money, and anytime I have issues with them, they don't care at all. Worst bank in Cornwall. 100% don't recommend & 100% don't trust. Horrible customer service. They should be ashamed.

Been with BMO for a while always had problems with them. This took me off the edge when they let someone else change my password on my card with out me knowing and completed a transaction with it. After talking to a manager she continued to give me attitude and act like I was the problem. Would give it a 0-5 if I could, never again BMO.

It doesn't matter how busy or quiet the Branch is, when you walk in, you get zero eye contact from any of the employees. They will walk right by you as if you aren't even there. I have never been greeted by any employee other than when the CSR is ready to serve me at the wicket. Also, the offices are empty (as in, employees sitting alone at their desks) but nobody can see you without an appointment, EVER! The cashiers are nice and seem to be the only ones working. I really don't like going there. It's always a frustrating experience. Your customer matter!

Pros:Friendly staff.Cons:Lining up for a teller is non intuitive, zero privacy when with a teller, plexiglass partitions that lessen privacy (must speak louder), no desk space to sign papers, and never enough tellers open. I feel like they are passive-aggressively forcing you to use the ATM, which I would if I could.With the large amounts of profit that you record every year, I believe you can afford a few more tellers.

If I can go lower, I would.they are charging my line of credit weekly AND monthly, asked to stop the weekly,still waiting,they are not trust worthy and I really don't think they know what they are doing ?

I totally understand it is not the fault of the tellers or staff but surely BMO could afford to hire more front line workers. 45 + minute wait to deposit money into my business account is not acceptable customer service. Of course I can't use the machine so I'm stuck having to wait. The business line is rarely open. If I were to implement the same business strategy I'd be out of business. BMO do better.

Ok now that I'm not angry im gonna give BMO a better review BMO has problems they have to deal with everything on the phone is my problem 3 hour que times bmo is fair for their rates and if you get the right lady or gentleman behind the desk you can get all your problems fixed.

Went in to close an overpaid line of credit, offered to even open an account to have the funds transferred. Zero help, took my information it has been over 24 hours and nothing. They just seem to have no idea what to do, or how to answer questions, or provide real solutions. I've worked at a bank, this is not a complicated thing, it's a simple override. Very poor customer service.

It's hard coming to this bank during covid-19. The line ups always take more than half an hour. Lots of people end up walking away because the wait is so long, customers in the line get impatient and start insulting the bank for the incredible wait times. Even when you get in to see a teller there is NO privacy,the person next to you can easily overhear your conversation without any effort. Not to mention they can SEE what you are doing due to glass windows. BMO used to be so much better than this.

Negative 5 star, Worst bank ever. DO NOT get your mortgage here!! Ended paying more cause they did two appraisals and screwed it up. Now years later it has now taken TWO YEARS to have my CO-owner assume the mortgage. They transferred the account 4 times and we had to redo the paper work each time. Then when the lawyers said it was all done, they never completed it and 6 months later when getting approved for another home, I find out that it was never completed and they never followed up! DO NOT use this bank. I could go on with more horror stories of the incompetency of this place.OH and they don't answer the phone, good luck getting a someone on the phone or a call back!

Must say the worst BMO Branch I had to deal with always an issue. You try calling them they won’t answer however the answering machine will say that they will call you by the end of the day. It has been honestly 5 days I haven’t heard back from them. They are suppose to be my home branch but why do I need to call 10 different people before they contact me back. #wasteoftime #dontcareabouttheycustomers #takingmybusinessandmpneyelsewhere.
