went in and looked around. there was none of what I was looking for. Everything else I was interested in was about half the price of a new item so I didn't purchase anything!

Lots of neat items that aren’t dinged or in rough shape, only thing is for a second hand store the prices for clothes can be high.

I have found a handful of clothing items, alot of name brand as well, in great condition for reasonable prices. There is the odd item here and there that is overpriced in my opinion but overall a good place to shop for all kinds of different things. The staff here has always been welcoming.

Good value yes.Not such good service: I was refused the exchange of a clothing item within 7 days of purchase, even though I had the receipt and the original price tag attached.Value Village receipts state: "Exchanges are accepted on clothing and shoes only. Bring back the items with the original price tag attached and your receipt within 14 days of purchase. The value of the exchange will be credited toward same day purchases."Cornwall staff are undoubtedly unaware of this. Since they refused to look at my receipt, they will remain unaware. But it is a charity store, right? So I chose to give them the hat I came to exchange, rather than explain and argue.

I use to go shopping there A LOT. One month I spent 800$ in trinkets for my new place. Now I no longer go. the prices are INSANE, straight from the mental hospital! Why would I spend $20 for a pair of ridiculous sandals, that are DIRTY and risk getting a plantar wart for that price? The fun of buying used is that you don't spend too much money but there is WORK to do after. Wash the clothes, disinfect, repair, all sorts of things. at that price, I'd much rather buy RETAIL. That's actually what the lady at the store told me to do when I complained about their crazy prices. "You can always buy retail."End result, the shelves are FULL and frankly I don't even walk in anymore. It's just reached the level of STUPID.SO... to recap. For the same price as retail, I have to clean, disinfect, repair, SELF CHECKOUT and pay for my bag. Well you know what? F. You. "Overvalued Village".I'm out.

I've been shopping at VV for well over a decade! Its definitely not the same as it once was in terms of pricing, quality control, and customer consideration. They recieve most of their items that they sell by donation. In exchange for the items recieved, they provide a 20% off discount coupon that comes with terms and conditions. I have come across items with tears, cracks, holes, etc...In my opinion, the prices are not just or fair considering the state of some of the pieces and the origin in which they've come from. I've witnessed staff disrespect management in front of customers rather than addressing concerns in office. I feel that their return/exchange policy on clothing is not appropriate. I think the store should have mandatory change rooms like they once did. It would save several headaches between staff and client. I dont think giving a store credit and having to spend the exact same amount on other items convenient. If we went in for clothing, couldn't try it on, spent $100, have nothing fit, then returning to find nothing else but having to choose other items to replace what we originally spent and went in for, it is a complete waste of money and is extremely counterproductive.I do, however, still enjoy going to VV to find those few gems that will be in great condition and have a fair price. I'm always hopeful and positive with my shopping experience. I do believe that the truth should be spoken and to give a heads up to others to simply remain cautious and diligent rather than discourage anyone. It isn't possible to be progressive as a business if we don't/can't address and bring legitimate issues and concerns to the surface!

Prices are outrageous... I used to love coming here but now the prices are almost the same as regular retail stores. If there is a brand name logo they hike up the price... It makes no sense as all the items are donated for free. Alot of junk and garbage stuff as well being sold at reicoulous prices like a dirty gross mug for 4.99$. Not to mention they no longer have changing rooms which makes no sense. And now they have self check out ??Value Village officially has zero value. It was a place were less fortunate people could shop but now it's almost considered expensive for what you're getting.

A lot of stuff, decent prices on books, but everything else was insanely expensive. The shoes were all filthy as a cherry on top. This cannot be called thrifting at this price level.

This location was clean and the stock was so organized on the walls and shelves. It was easy to see the items. I very much enjoyed it and will be coming back.

This is one of my favorite second-hand stores. Lots of items, they are usually in respectable condition and you can get quality items for relatively cheap. Now, in no way is this the cheapest place, but I believe its average prices and quality are quite respectful. I have found many hidden gems, my favorite being a Vintage Jurassic Park Universal Studios T-Shirt that still had the original tags on it!
