“I am writing this review in hopes that Gordon Purchase, my insurance adjuster from Maple Mutual will be acknowledged by all for his outstanding work. This past month I had the unfortunate situation of having my car stolen. Gord called me the very next morning to let me know he would be handling my claim. He was calm, empathetic and treated me with so much kindness. I was extremely stressed and unsure of exactly how claims like this worked. He was very patient with me, taking the time to thoroughly explain everything in detail and answered all of my questions. Without hesitation he organized my rental that I was able to pick up immediately and let me know I could go buy a replacement car seat for my child. Gordon is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell without a doubt he takes tremendous pride in his job. He was a joy to speak with on all occasions never making me feel like he was annoyed or rushing to get through the calls with me. With a stolen car it’s much different than an accident as there is a 30 day waiting period to see if the car would be recovered. During the 30 days Gord made sure to keep in contact with me and proactively kept me updated throughout the entire process. I truly could not have asked for a better person to help me through this stressful situation. My claim was dealt with and expedited quickly. Again, updating me with every single detail down to making sure I had the tracking numbers for the cheques from my settlement. I can’t thank Gord enough for all his hard work, dedication and for treating me with such care during a stressful time. I appreciate his patience and kindness more than anything else and I hope he knows he is a great asset to the Maple Mutual team.
