“You have to support this lovely locally owned shop! Not sure how we've missed this Locke Street gem before as it's been here since the 80's. Pure Home Couture is a stunning apothecary in an a second floor loft space on Locke. I was immediately in aww of the gorgeous high beamed ceilings and original yet well maintained worn wooden floors. The decor is giving Parisian vibes
with French armories, chandeliers, harvest tables, Marie busts and beautifully displayed row upon row of locally made candles, soaps, perfumes and salts. Everything is locally made. My favourite scent was Sea Salt and the Blood Orange.”
“I recently became more mindful when it came to burning candles. I’m happy that this locally owned Hamilton store offers soy based candles as opposed to cheaper paraffin based wax. The scent selection is great here! I also found myself purchasing a car freshener and they last a really long time. Super friendly people who work here; you can tell they really love their products. “Earlier this summer I took advantage of a special online sale to purchase a new 10' diameter patio table umbrella. At the time of order I was notified within a 2 week window that the product had arrived and was ready for pick up at their Burlington location. Once I collected the new umbrella and noticed the wide selection of both outdoor and indoor furniture, shade solutions and accessory items available. Unfortunately, when the new umbrella was in place I noticed a stitch had come apart and I notified the store and they suggested I return it for an exchange. It was quicker to have the umbrella repaired than to wait for a new umbrella but unfortunately this time when the canvas had been replaced the ribs of the umbrella were improperly positioned preventing any attempt to open the umbrella. Again I returned the defective umbrella to their Burlington store and this time Irina, the cheery and helpful manager secured a new umbrella in its place. There was never any hesitation to correct the problems and despite these two glitches it was an otherwise stellar customer experience, and I would not hesitate to order from DOT again! Convenient parking available on site.”

“My favourite hardware store. Staff very helpful, pleasant. Great selection of items. Always find useful things at their store. Especially appreciate their service dept. Have a great guy there, that fixes lawnmower and even replaced a handle on my old pitchfork. Really grateful as there were no other stores who even had a replacement part for my pitchfork, but they have a guy who actually took off old broken handle and replaced with a new one. That's why they are my preferred place yo get anything I need re: hardware stuff.”

“Definitely the smallest Ikea in Canada if I'm wrong then I've been fooled it has been close to 20 years since I have visited this Ikea and I was blown away by how small it actually is compared to the other Ikea locations across Canada. Is going to be short on skews and is going to be shy of a full catalog. But if you know where to go and you know what you want it's quicker getting around to the marketplace since it is smaller to find what you're looking for if of course they have it in stock I would recommend checking their website for stock before venturing to Burlington Ikea if you know what you're looking for.”
“A great place for a good price. Food is average and the atmosphere cold. Prices are in line although you would think they'd be a bit Cheaper since it is an add on to the furniture giant. Good to not have to search out other eating establishments while shopping.”

“Visited tonight for the first time. Bought a sofa bed. There's lots of nice furniture and decor, I was surprised by the selection. Absolutely no sales staff approached us at all. It was lovely. We went to Leon's the night before and were stalked like prey the mnlinute we entered. It was nice to freely walk around and look at all the options and not feel like we were being pick-pocketed. Lol
We ended up buying a nice sofa bed foe our spare room. Purchase was easy and hassle free.”
