So, I've been ordering from them for a while now—a few times for a BBQ with friends, and one time for the meat I eat in my day-to-day life.
First of all, the meat quality is insane. The steaks are amazing, the bigger chunks are cleaned properly and ready to use (no need to cut excess fat), and even their chicken comes clean and ready to use (unlike other places).
Their customer service is top-notch, and the delivery is great!
I highly recommend it to everybody! Some of my friends even asked me where we got the meat, as it was melting in their mouths.
Will definitely buy again.”

Shopping here is a bit of a luxury for our household but their prices are competitive when compared to other stores that sell foods of a similar level of quality. “Butcher’s that care. They are happy to vacuum seal meat including complimentary seasoning. As someone who sous vide this is very helpful as I don’t need to buy a proper vacuum sealer.
Service is friendly, knowledgeable and all their pre marinated products are excellent. Their fresh burgers are excellent as well although a touch pricey at $5.
My only real complaint is they aren’t open mon to Wednesday. I’ve tried the larger butchers and really appreciate the smaller size of this butcher. I previously wrote they did not carry burger / hot dog buns. They now do, perfect one stop shop to bring good stuff for a friends bbq or a quick meal!

“This has been my main grocery store/butcher for over a year now and it’s top tier. I used to work at a butcher shop and the quality for the price you get here is unmatched in the city outside of some spots in Markham and Scarborough. “Picked up some meat here and the quality was honestly top-notch — super fresh and really tasty. The gochujang jeyuk (spicy marinated pork) that was on sale was delicious, and the jalapeño pickles had a great kick while still being really flavorful.
The owner was also incredibly kind and welcoming. Definitely coming back!”

“I've been to roast a few times and will offer this advice: Speak to the butcher. They are very knowledgeable about their products and give great recommendations. A couple times I've outlined an upcoming event, or asked for their advice on a dinner idea, and with their guidance always knocked it out of the park. Quality product and people.”
“Had the most delicious cordon blue chicken… thought I was ordering the individual serving ones but it was like a roast… cooked it as per the directions and carved it up. 30$ and fed at least 6 people. Really yummy. All their stuff is great. Another customer said their pork souvlaki were delicious so will try those next time. Really a beautiful butcher shop. Worth a visit.
Note re the Mongolian beef kabobs that a customer found inedible… they are! But we figured it out. As soon as we get home we wash all the marinade off them. Then they’re very good. Still a bit spicy but very tender.”

“Sanagan’s is our absolute go-to butcher in East Toronto. The quality is always amazing and you can really taste the difference between meat from there vs a traditional grocery store. The staff are super friendly and always willing to share a tip or two if you’re not sure what to cook. We love the selection here too…steaks, sausages, really great chicken, fresh bread, prepared foods, etc. Every time we shop here we end up leaving with more than planned because everything is soo good. Easily one of the best butcher shops in the city! Pro tip - get a spicy pepperette for the road!”

“Lots of variety, and nice store, friendly staff I have bought lots of products and mostly am happy but a few times I have got meats that tasted off. Please just double check dates . I bought turkey and it was packed on the same day as best before..my fault for not looking but meat was spoiled. I have purchased pork that smelled off too. I had to throw it unfortunately”
