“Went to visit the store and I gotta say this cute store is everything! They have the most adorable plushies (ranging from hello kitty, my melody, Winnie the Pooh, etc.) they also have some really cute plates and cups ? Also, Padraig slippers, which are so great. And the best hopscotch in the city.”

“based on the customer service alone I am very happy with my experience. I ordered something on December 23 and I did call before hand, so I knew that the office was closed during the holidays. However I was surprised to get an email to advise me that even with the office closed they could accommodate a pick up. I was so happy to be able to pick up earlier so I could give the the item to my nephew for Christmas. This small gesture especially during the holiday season really made a huge difference.”

“We found Toronto Toys on Market place last year, and thought the boys would love to get a new car or motorcycle, but I guess they weren't ready. This year I contacted Jim again he was very responsive, pleasant answered every question and concern I've had. The motorcycles we chose were not easy to assemble, as the instructions are not so clear but we pulled it out.Even when I contacted him after few weeks, asking for technician or parts. He gladly was able to resolve the issue and the one he couldn't he just gave me techs phone numbers.The overall experience was very pleasant, with a great timely manner.Will be returning to purchase more in the future.”

“Being followed around and rudely cashed out for carrying around a 99 cent sticker that for some reason gave off the impression I was going to go through the trouble of stealing something that cheap was annoying, but otherwise a good little store and I’ve enjoyed every other time I’ve been there.”
“My daughters are both in their 20s now but I still come here to purchase items when my nieces are over or I have a kids birthday or Christmas gift to purchase. The staff are always kind, knowledgeable and patient. The place is narrow and can become easily congested but the staff keeps it cool, calm and collected. I appreciate that plus the hace wrapping available if needed (how great is that) plus I always end up buying helium balloons lol. Side note: one year while I was in college I brought my kids to a Halloween party at wychwood barns. They had a raffle for a gift certificate for playful minds 200-250 I’m not sure which it was but I told my kids right when we got there that I had to buy tickets right away because I knew I was going to win. I don’t know how I knew but I told them god sees me in school, single parent and struggling. He’s going to let me win. I one lol. Had to share that. If you don’t shop here, please do. “I’ve been meaning to post this for a while now: I will forever be thankful for the kind and knowledgeable staff who helped my husband out after our daughter was born.We were not expecting our baby to be arriving for a while yet and - though we had the larger items/furniture and baby hygiene items we’d need already - we didn’t have anywhere close to everything required for when baby came home.Well, things changed quickly for us after a routine checkup turned into an agressive induction and then an emergency c-section (don’t worry - baby is fine now, thankfully!).While I was still in hospital recovering from the c-section, and learning about taking proper care of my little one (she is my first baby), I begged my husband to go stock us up on the things we were missing. At the time I thought I was being clear, but I also hadn’t slept in two days and was on pain medication so… let’s just say he was left a bit confused on what to buy.Anyway, the wonderful staff at Twice As Nice took my very stressed-out and sleep-deprived husband under their wings and set him up well: adorable onesies (in the correct sizes!), tiny hats, swaddles (which he didn’t know existed until that moment haha), a very soft bath towel, burp cloths, and basically everything we were missing and needed at that point in time! It was a huge help to us, and I have been giving them our business ever since. Thanks, ladies!”

“I absolutely love this place! Can spend hours just looking through their vast selection of games, educational toys and nostalgic knick-knacks from my childhood. The store owners are very knowledgeable and I always ask for their recommendations when getting stuff for my two girls. They also have workbooks that are used in schools and extra activities books for targeted subjects. Have been going there since I was pregnant with my first child, which is almost 9 years ago...time sure flies!”
