“I recently had an nice experience there, the staff are always super friendly and welcoming! They have a lot of cool things to browse through like their walls of spray paints for graffiti art and a wide range of blind boxes, retro trading cards/toys, and collectible figurines from popular designers. “I travelled from far away to visit this store and it didn’t disappoint. Lots of builds for you to admire and dream about having. The new products Dreamzz were displayed in the front window with a 2 ft tall Lego monster. The build table for kids is nice if you need to distract them while you do the shopping. But if your not a kid don’t be afraid to jump in. The build your own mini figure station is a hit and a better value if you buy 3. The wall of bricks at the back is neat. I like the colours. The staff are friendly but not pushy or annoying. Over all a clean well organized store. Worth the drive.”

“based on the customer service alone I am very happy with my experience. I ordered something on December 23 and I did call before hand, so I knew that the office was closed during the holidays. However I was surprised to get an email to advise me that even with the office closed they could accommodate a pick up. I was so happy to be able to pick up earlier so I could give the the item to my nephew for Christmas. This small gesture especially during the holiday season really made a huge difference.”

“My daughters are both in their 20s now but I still come here to purchase items when my nieces are over or I have a kids birthday or Christmas gift to purchase. The staff are always kind, knowledgeable and patient. The place is narrow and can become easily congested but the staff keeps it cool, calm and collected. I appreciate that plus the hace wrapping available if needed (how great is that) plus I always end up buying helium balloons lol. Side note: one year while I was in college I brought my kids to a Halloween party at wychwood barns. They had a raffle for a gift certificate for playful minds 200-250 I’m not sure which it was but I told my kids right when we got there that I had to buy tickets right away because I knew I was going to win. I don’t know how I knew but I told them god sees me in school, single parent and struggling. He’s going to let me win. I one lol. Had to share that. If you don’t shop here, please do. “I’ve been meaning to post this for a while now: I will forever be thankful for the kind and knowledgeable staff who helped my husband out after our daughter was born.We were not expecting our baby to be arriving for a while yet and - though we had the larger items/furniture and baby hygiene items we’d need already - we didn’t have anywhere close to everything required for when baby came home.Well, things changed quickly for us after a routine checkup turned into an agressive induction and then an emergency c-section (don’t worry - baby is fine now, thankfully!).While I was still in hospital recovering from the c-section, and learning about taking proper care of my little one (she is my first baby), I begged my husband to go stock us up on the things we were missing. At the time I thought I was being clear, but I also hadn’t slept in two days and was on pain medication so… let’s just say he was left a bit confused on what to buy.Anyway, the wonderful staff at Twice As Nice took my very stressed-out and sleep-deprived husband under their wings and set him up well: adorable onesies (in the correct sizes!), tiny hats, swaddles (which he didn’t know existed until that moment haha), a very soft bath towel, burp cloths, and basically everything we were missing and needed at that point in time! It was a huge help to us, and I have been giving them our business ever since. Thanks, ladies!”

On the bright side there is a wider selection of other board games and puzzles as well. Definitely recommend if you’re interested in board games, learning chess, getting your first chess set.”

“I have bought a handful of nice things here for my kids as well as a sale sweater for myself that has been my winter staple. Recently a backpack I bought for my daughter had a clasp break just 4-5mo after purchase and I have to say, the customer service experience was exceptional. This includes personal text message communication and various efforts to resolve the issue that smoothly led to the owner providing a brand new replacement backpack, which is simultaneously warranted and also a lot! I feel like customer service has really declined in the retail world and this experience and the overall quality of goods from this store are really high and these good reviews well deserved! “In my opinion a lot of the reviews that have been left on here are unfair and hypocritical. My faith in the consumer has taken a beating reading these. The level of entitlement in the average consumer has gone without being checked for far too long and because of this many of you have become far too comfortable with failing to manage yourselves and your expectations. Calm down. What we have here is a mom and pop shop that has been servicing the community for over 30 years, a commitment that is only made possible through their unwavering dedication towards both the younger and the older members of our community. Immediately upon entering the store you can sense that it has been meticulously planned and thought out. You can tell that they care and that they believe in the products they’re selling and because of this it makes sense that they have a, “no food and drink” policy in order to help protect the merchandise, themselves, and every one of us who frequent the store. What I love about the store is that the owners are not only able to answer any questions about any specific product, they make wonderful suggestions and will even make an effort to track down any particular game, brand, or toy that you may be interested in once you’ve expressed interest. They keep a mental note of things you have purchased before and use that information to make informed suggestions the next time you enter the space. I’ve had a great experience time and time again in the Toy Terminal and I wish them the very best. I will be back again soon, thank you for helping me make so many birthdays and holidays successful ones.”
