Fonthill ReStore (Habitat for Humanity Niagara)

Home Improvements
Hours: Fonthill ReStore is a social enterprise retailer owned and operated by Habitat for Humanity Niagara. It accepts and resells donations of new and gently used furniture, appliances, décor, and home improvement materials. All proceeds fund Habitat for Humanity, helping to build homes in the community. Every purchase supports a great cause, every donation helps a family, and every visit is a new adventure. Reviews describe the store as an absolute gem and a great store with friendly, helpful staff. Shoppers find it a wonderful surprise with everything displayed beautifully, noting it is a perfect place for those who love to thrift. Many report finding items of value, with great prices on quality pieces like furniture in great shape. Customers appreciate that even items priced similarly to other retailers are a better deal because no tax is charged and the money goes toward a great cause. However, some feedback indicates pricing can be hit and miss, described as all over the map. Some items are great deals while others seem overpriced or cheaper in retail stores, with a suggestion that pricing knowledge may vary. A note cautions that with larger purchases, there is no warranty, and it is important to check sealed boxes for missing components. Despite pricing concerns, the friendly and helpful staff are consistently praised.
