Hours: Foodland Forest is a local grocery store serving the Forest area. Despite some customer complaints, the store offers a decent selection of products and generally friendly staff. The store is praised for its quality meat, delicious broasted chicken, and great bakery items. Customers appreciate the store's convenience, cleanliness, and the fact that they pack groceries. However, some issues have been raised, such as the sale of expired or soon-to-expire products at regular prices, the presence of a dollar store section, and concerns about high prices, especially for vacationers. Customers have mixed experiences with the return policy and one particular cashier, who is described as unpleasant. The store is encouraged to address these concerns and be more respectful and responsive to customer feedback. Overall, Foodland Forest is a valuable asset for the local community, providing a decent grocery option, though there is room for improvement in certain areas to better meet customer needs and expectations.
