“They are a good neighborhood grocery store where they have most of everything that you are looking for except Bothwell Cheese Gouda. I looked the store up on Google, and it said that they had the cheese, so I went there to look for it, and unfortunately, they don't carry it. Great store and friendly people that work in there. “This will be a neighborhood staple for as long as its around. While I find the prices pretty expensive, the location and friendliness of the staff make up for it. I always see the owner being chatty and asking for customers' feedback on new products, which is so refreshing to see. Additionally, there's been a couple times now where I've been given a great discount - once was because an avocado was slightly overripe, and the worker offered a discount without us even saying anything. The next time was for a box of macaroni that was expired, and they gave it to us for free :)”

“Not too big and not too small. Good selection of most things you would need from a grocery store. Wonderful people to deal with - very helpful in helping you find what you are looking for. As expected, they do have good sales, but generally prices are a little higher than big stores.”
“I was very pleased with my service today. The lady was kind, efficient and was able to answer all my absurd questions about products. However I couldn’t help but overhear the conversation being had with an uber driver. I have never seen someone ask for help so rudely and talk down to a worker. The young lady was directing him to all the correct places but he just kept denying it while raising his voice. I remember hearing him say “what do you do when a blind person comes into the store” this behaviour is so incredibly rude and infuriating. I just wanted to say that I had an amazing experience at this location and that the lady handled the situation so very politely and mature. I have shopped at M&M’s for a long time with my mom and to see the workers have to get treated like that is horrible. Something needs to be done so these uber drivers don’t feel so entitled for someone to do THEIR job.”

Prices are higher than more populated areas 40 min down the road, purely opportunistic pricing as it's the only grocer in town.”
“Good selection in the produce and bread and deli departments. Prices are decent with a selection that are priced even better. Prices seem a bit higher than No Frills but mostly on par. Lots of choices for Middle Eastern cuisine.”
“A good place to shop - well paid, happy staff, but beware of impulse purchases. The store is set up in such a way as to force you to do a complete circuit resulting in potentially unnecessary purchases. More sustainable clothing brands would be a plus”
“I LIKE IT! It's cheap because there are NO frills, unlike Loblaw's, which has many frills and very expensive. I'm not a frilly kind of guy - I just want food. No matter how frilly it is when you eat it, the frills are gone when it comes out the other end.”

“The renovation at Loblaws made the store very efficient to walk through, as well as very organized, while keeping departments in their original and familiar places before. As well, I like the addition of the takeout and sushi bar, which gives off a restaurant feel. There is also seating upstairs, which has a lot of natural light, and an area which displays the history of the Kingston Loblaws location, and an area that was used for cooking classes! My only complaints are the prices being more expensive than they should be for basic items, like fruits and vegetables, (but that’s every grocery store right now) and some indoor employees not wearing their uniforms properly. It looks sloppy and makes it hard to tell whether they are an employee or customer. Otherwise, I had a nice visit, and brought my sushi takeout to the upstairs seating.”
