“I purchased a dryer and could not be happier with the service, condition and price of my appliance. Both Mr & Mrs. McDougall are such kind people. I appreciate thier business very much. “I stopped in for the first time yesterday and the first thing I noticed is how organized it is! Everything is in its own section and things are grouped together nicely. If you were looking for something specific, it wouldn't take long to check on whether they had it or not. The lady at the front counter was very nice and helpful”

“Truly the most amazing consignment shop ever, for men’s or women’s. I came out of here with my arms overflowing. High quality clothes, clean quality, well organized, and just so much stuff. Good selection for young people and older folks looking for something special.”

“ALL TIME favorite! Like any place, you need to do some digging sometimes but it is always worth it! Clothing, toys, school supplies, holiday goods, you name it! Staff is super friendly and I always find something amazing - always in working order and excellent shape.”

“Lovelyyyy little thrift shop with so so much stuff! The place is huge once you get inside. The staff is amazing and very welcoming. They were very nice to my dog. Adorable hidden shop, with great prices and a large selection. You will not be dissapointed!”

“Been going here since I was little, my uncle and dad used to work here back in the day driving the trucks. Always find something good, my sisters are having their first babies and found a lot of convenient stuff. Hope they don’t close this one like all the other ones closes. Would be sad!”

“Absolute treasure trove for shoes, especially high heels. In general it's a hidden gem, and a must for thrift shoppers far and wide. St Vincent De Paul's has everything, clothes, shoes, houseware, frames, furniture, etc. I had a great time perusing the shop. However, it's a shame that most of the shoes were for smaller women when I visited. Would definitely come back, it's a great find.”

“Excellent selection of used goods including furniture, hardware and building supplies. I've both shopped and donated here while having a great experience each time. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Please take the time to support the work they do by donating or buying something today!”

“Just stopped in there for Erie County flu shot event but the staff was very nice, both for Salvation Army and the county vaccine distributors. They were very covid conscientious and that's always important and appreciated. I think at first they thought I was confused where I was but it went off fine. Glad there were no problems.”

“I don't know how I never reviewed the store before, but it's been open perhaps three years now? Or I've been aware of it anyway for about that long. It's on Sheridan, it's much smaller than Savers, Amvets or Goodwill or any of those kinds of stores, making it a very easy place to stop and do a quick run in if you're looking for something or a quick run in just to check it out. Easy parking out front.”

“Small, but I think this makes the store very manageable, especially when you have young kids who are anxious to leave. I can usually still find new things when I come once/every few weeks. Ashley is amazing! She’s so nice to my kids when they’re with me, and when they’re not, she suggests places I could take them. She’s extra thoughtful and a hard-worker. The only downside is that prices have increased and I’ve seen some really damaged/used things marked up lately, particularly in the shoe section. Otherwise this is a great location if you’re pressed for time and want somewhere to browse through quickly!”

“I treasure the William Street Goodwill.....the "mother ship" of the WNY Goodwill fleet of stores.I find the William Street store to be spotlessly clean and well organized with a varied selection of new and vintage items. I always find very unusual ( and frequently high-end) items that are always in perfect condition and working order. The staff is helpful and always friendly and the prices are always fair. This is probanly the smallest of the WNY Goodwill stores, but it strikes me as being a truely special "jewel", being in perfect order and with consistent quality merchandise. I compliment the stores management in their ability to maintain high standards of merchandise and an excellent staff.”

“The nicest Goodwill of WNY ( and I’ve shopped at ALL of them!) The workers were so pleasant and helpful. It’s like shopping with friends. The other locations should be trained here, they are doing it right?”

“This is one of the best thrift stores in WNY, if not America. Caroline, Darlene and the crew do a great job keeping the store organized and clean. We find tons of unique vintage and new items here every time we stop in.”
