“This hidden gem in Gananoque Is where 90% of my wardrobe comes from. I have been buying from Shannon for 15 years! Always a variety of brands and styles that just speak to me! It is because of this store that I have fallen in love with brands that I can’t find anywhere else. Excellent clothing options for men + women. Pop in! You won’t regret it!”
“I ordered a river baby hat to be shipped to a friend who lived out of state. About a week later I received a handwritten card from the owner with $2. She explained the shipping cost less than I had paid and she wanted to return the difference. Such a sweet gesture, and really highlights the importance of choosing small businesses whenever possible!”
“I love The Golden Cleat and the Thousand Isalnds! My husband and I frequent Clayton, Alexandria Bay, and Cape Vincent, often. The top necklace I am wearing, is a sterling silver cleat - because I recently learned how to be a “first mate” on our pontoon boat:)The bottom necklace I am wearing, is a sterling silver chain- with November birthstone beads, in honor of my loving, sweet mom- Katie Fava of Lockport, NY, who recently passed away:)To wear the birthstone necklace from The Golden Cleat, makes it feel like mom is with me, and close to my heart. Beautiful, quality pieces from The Golden Cleat- in store, in Clayton, NY, or online! I will be a lifelong customer!Katherine Rankin, Lockport, Ny”
