Mytek offers a comprehensive inventory of essential tools for plumbing, electrical contracting, framing contractors, etc. What's different about Mytek is that they service what they sell, as well as pretty well any other tool related to the trades.

As per Andy Atkins review below - The lady on reception was GLACIAL with me. I'd rather buy a new drill then to have my old one repaired by these folks.During these challenging times when so many local business' are struggling and e-business is hammering them, I have a hard time accepting such a cold reception. At least on-line I don't have to deal with a glacial-why-are-you-calling-us receptionist. It leaves me with very little sympathy for business' that choose to put staff with no people skills at reception. No thanks Mytek. I'll go elsewhere.

Very interesting experience with the tool and the shop.I admit that I am guilty fond of collecting tool, powered or manual. Couple of months ago, I bought a power drain cleaning tool from Ridgid after researching several different tools online, since the manual one failed to clear the blockage too far down the kitchen drain. It's a tool easy to use, there is a forward and there is a backward and there is a guiding hose which is nice. There is also a reverse which they say don't use it unless you're really desperate. It did the job, but at the end when I want to retrieve the cable, it didn't want to go in, then I realized it didn't go forward or backward anymore. I read the manual, it says that you could open the casing to rewind the cable, but when I call the customer service, I was told I could bring it to the shop to get it fixed. That sound simpler, so I went to the shop on the Friday before the Civic long weekend and they're closed because it's a holiday on Monday. Not a big deal, a lot of small companies do have this perk for their employees. I went in again after couple of weeks and was told it will be fixed in couple of weeks, which is also fine since my issue was already fixed.Yesterday, I got a call saying the tool is ready to be picked up, so I went in to do so and that's when it's getting interesting. The technician seemed to be very angry with me, accusing me not using the tool properly and telling me to go back to home depot asking for a demonstration since he only sells tools, he doesn't do demo. So I argued a little saying I think it's a tool very simple and easy to use, why do I need a demonstration? The guy got more upset telling me that I was wasting his time, matter of fact, in the short less than 5 mins conversation with him, he told me at least 3 times that I was wasting his time. He told me they fixed the tool, which I believe it's true, but I am not confident that the cable won't tangle again. When it happens again, I probably will just try to rewind it myself instead of going to the shop to be judged as an incompetent person (or woman?) I am not trying to play the racist or sexist card, but I don't appreciate people draw conclusions without base and being rude. Will I buy another Ridgid tool? I am not sure, though they have lifetime warranty, do I really want to face a hostile technician whenever the tool stopped working?

Exceptional service. Won't find more honest company. Used the company to repair my construction tools for longer than I can remember. Don't use the Makita repair depot. Come here!!!!

If your here for Milwaukee, turn around and drive down the street! I was directed here by my box store for repairs to my brushless Milwaukee tools. Pour quality service and the entire time I was left with the impression that since i wasnt a regular contractor, i was bothering them. When i came to pick up the battery after being repaired the guy literally put it on the counter and was walked away. I got a recycled battery that was referbed i think. Also, writing this because i went to the new Milwaukee service centre after and was blown away by the great service, giving me tips on tool maintenance and actually straight swapped another failing battery with a new one off the shelf no questions asked.
