“Like all the local farm produce they offer. Find favorite foods that I can't find anywhere else. Well worth the extra 5 minutes it takes me to get there. Very friendly atmosphere.”

“Unfortunately, it’s a quite a distance from where I live but every opportunity I get when in around the area, I make sure to visit. I find they have products that you can’t find in any other stores. Their produce, meat and seafood prices are fair. Fresh fish and not frozen is always available. Staff are polite and friendly. Love this place.”

“Small Caribbean store with very friendly chatty owner (Captain Sunshine ). I wish the selection of fresh fruits and fresher vegetables were available but I know sourcing it can be hard unless you arein Toronto. Did buy a nice Dutch pot and some Jamaican sweet treats. Will be back here again for sure”

“This review is long overdue. I have shopped here for years. I worked in the Glebe in 2015 and again in 2022 through 2024. This is one of the nicest grocery stores in the city. The selection is excellent for the size of store and they have some specialty products I rarely see. Kira checked me out and expertly packed my bags, as I had the pleasure of shopping today! I was able to get the Guinness for my Irish stew too! Ran into Ian, such a terrific manager, and was assisted by Don who helped me take my groceries out down a very slushy sidewalk and waited until my Uber arrived. He helped load up and saw me safely on my way home. I really can't say enough about the service way more then 5. I would give them 100 stars. Thank you!”

“I like this Metro. They carry some products that are surprisingly hard to find elsewhere, including an ice cream made without additives, which I really appreciate. I also like their ready-to-eat section, with sandwiches and other convenient lunch options. Their fresh produce section is well maintained and offers a good selection of fruits and vegetables. Overall, it's a good grocery store where I can usually find what I'm looking for.”
