Searched the store for assistance on the floor - then had to ask a cashier to page the store for help. Store was paged twice. No one showed up.
This is the standard every time I go to this store. Find it yourself or don’t shop here.

I stopped by yesterday and had questions about upcoming Black Friday sales while checking out. Joseph was kind enough to go out of his way to look up the item I was speaking of to answer my question. He was very helpful and thorough.
Amazing customer service from him!

Worst experience here. No one time help in any section other than wood or contracting. Waited over 20 minutes, asked for assistance and nothing. Reminder this was a Wednesday am when the store wasn’t busy. So naturally should have someone to assist.

I recently visited the Rona Grimsby location to exchange a defective product I purchased 3 days prior and unfortunately my experience with customer service was disappointing. The employee I dealt with, whose name I believe was Sabhiya, was rude and dismissive throughout the interaction. It was clear that she lacked basic customer service skills, making an already frustrating situation even more difficult.
I expected a smoother process and a more respectful approach, especially when dealing with a product exchange. I hope Rona takes steps to improve training for its staff at this location to ensure customers are treated with professionalism and respect in the future.

Attempted to purchase several tools online, store showed stock on all items. Received a phone call saying they did not have one of the items. Was told there was another option went to the store to see if they did have something. They did not, trying to find anything in a very disorganized tool section, no labels facing out on the power tool shelves, power tools all over the place. No staff members could assist stating no knowledge of the products.
No one even offered to help or try and find the item or suitable replacement again no knowledge of product, very disappointing experience and sub par customer service

Today we went into Rona Grimsby to pick up lumber for a project when we came across a stand up freezer we were actually thinking about buying in the future- Tom the sales associate for what seemed like all departments as he was knowledgeable in all areas came to our aid and was fantastic ‘! He helped up get our lumber needs and as well talked us into our freezer as it was the last one . We had no way of getting it home so he informed us that Rona has a rentable large , super inexpensive Van !! YES!!! We were so happy with all his help and ended going home with the lumber and the fridgidare stand up freezer thanks to his help and knowledge!!! 5 stars!!!!!

Check your receipts. Purchased 3 items. 2 of the items came with wrong pricing. 10% difference. MOD admitted it happens often.

Sarah in contractor services has been such a great help organizing my laundry room and powder room renovation. Great employee who is really on the ball- helpful, polite, professional and provides good tips on discount items and keeping the costs down.
I have been finding some great bargains at this store recently.
Can't understand some of the negative comments because I have always found the staff very helpful and polite.

Returned some extra material without original receipt but thanks to a young gentleman by the name of Joseph who took the time to look up the time and machine used earlier in the day was able to find my purchase and allow for a full refund, much appreciated, great employee, a keeper for sure. J.T.

Ordered something online today and a short time later it was in a locker and ready for pickup. Good job! Not so fast. Three hours later it was removed from pick up locker and my order was canceled. Terrible customer treatment.
Update: Response from the store was their typical style. No offer to make things right or correct the situation. Management must have a huge stack of customer complaints on their desk by now.
Update 2: Head office customer service got involved and rectified the situation. Good for them and my thanks! The store manager was still uncooperative in making the correction.

Went to the store to compare pricing and asked their policy on it. I was told they price match and do not give the extra 10%. I mentioned that Home Depot gives the extra 10%. He replied "then go to Home Depot". Without knowing anything else about me, I'm building a garage and had lots more to buy than just a few things. I'm cancelling my VIP PRO and saying good buy to Rona. Home Depot get's my business!!!

I stopped into the paint Center to grab a gallon of paint and was served by Tracey. She was incredible! She wasn’t trying to upsell me or push me into things I didn’t really need (the most expensive and “best” paint). She showed me options and compared costs; lettinge know I could get a better quality paint as a better price. When she made the paint rather than hand it over to me she let me know it wasn’t a perfect match to my paint sample and showed me the colour difference. I couldn’t tell a difference to be honest; they were sooooo similar but she pointed out one had a slightly brown tone and didn’t want me disappointed once I painted with it (it might be more obvious then).she genuinely cared about what she was doing and making me happy as she could have easily just handed over the paint that was made and said nothing. Painted our space and it looks amazing! Thank you Tracey!

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Unacceptable Customer Service
Dear Rona Management,
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the customer service I experienced at your Grimsby location on Saturday, at approximately 6:20 PM. I visited the store specifically to purchase paint, only to find that there was no one available in the paint section to assist me.
I approached the front of the store and found two young cashiers who were unable to provide the assistance I needed - you can tell that they lacked customer service. One of the cashiers asked an older lady wearing an orange and yellow safety jacket for help. Unfortunately, this individual did not directly address me but instead informed the cashier that the person responsible for the paint section was on lunch.
I asked if there was anyone else who could assist me, and while I am certain the lady heard me, she did not respond. Instead, the cashier had to relay my question and was told, "No, I have no idea when he will be back." This response was both unhelpful and dismissive.
The lack of customer service and the unprofessional behavior I encountered during this visit were extremely disappointing. As a result, I will be taking my business to Home Depot in the future, despite it being a further drive, because I expect and demand better service.
I would like to formally file a complaint about this experience and strongly urge you to address these issues to prevent future customers from encountering the same poor service.

Was in garden centre last week on what seems like the hottest day ever. The lady at register ( Krystal ) was happy helpful and extremely polite. I can’t believe anyone was able to work there in the heat and still be so incredibly nice. This place has fantastic people.
