Metro Dundas Valley is the only grocery store in Dundas without requiring a bigger drive. It is a fairly small store, so it doesn't have a ton of options as a bigger store would. The store is always clean and organized, with great standards. Staff have always been friendly, helpful, thoughtful, and compassionate. The team is very helpful and kind. On the one hand, staff are noted for excellent service, such as quickly stocking requested items. On the other hand, prices aren't the cheapest and are higher than at other grocery stores. There have been isolated issues with expired items, but these were addressed. The self checkout is criticized as brutal and not accessible, leading some customers to avoid it. Overall, it is described as a great shop where the mission to satisfy customers is evident.

This is my go-to spot for fresh produce and high-quality meats. The bakery department always has a great selection, and the deli is fantastic for quick lunches. The store is well-organized, and has a much more relaxed vibe than the bigger city supermarkets. A true local gem
