“First time here but not last. Our car developed a grinding noise, a day before my wife and daughter was to leave on their Trip to Niagara. Immediate thought was a Brake issue, all our previous Mechanics that we have used in the past could not help us as too busy to even look at it. Everyone stated they could only see us in a few days, which does not work. I was not home when this occurred so Dar looked for a place to look at it, and Thankfully she managed to reach Rod at Cochrane Automotive. He understood the urgency behind the problem and took the vehicle in for a diagnosis the same day. He did a complete check of the braking system. He received the parts and completed repairs same day and had staff stay late to complete job so the ladies could enjoy their trip. They accommodate, listen to your needs, and given the situation, Provided an above and beyond service, and did it for a fair price. Found my new mechanic highly reccommend Cochrane Automotive, they'll take care of you.”

Last Wednesday my car suffered a tire blowout on the 401; while I waited for CAA to rescue me I called Green &Ross and asked if they could repair my tire if CAA delivered my car to them -- yes was the answer. They did the repair as soon as my car came to them and within a very few minutes I was on my way. Moe was very friendly and efficient!! I will recommend his garage to anyone who needs tire service. I found Vanderheyden on google after having issues getting my Mercedes instrument cluster fixed at another garage in Ajax.
I spoke with Wim, who was extremely helpful in bringing in a specialist to fix the issue in a matter of hours (whereas the other garage took 4 weeks and couldn't fix it). Wim didn't request or make any money for himself, and I only paid the specialist for the repair cost. Wim wouldnt even take my money when i tried to pay him for his time in setting it all up!
After the bad experience i had with the other garage, the experience I had with Wim and Vanderheyden's was a refreshing and pleasant surprise.”

Going to see Ben was like taking my car to someone I know. Felt like home. He diagnosed my car and gave me an estimate based on what needed to get fixed and what I could hold off on. And didn't try to gouge me for more work.
I self diagnosed my issues and expressed those to him. He took the time to go over my car properly and find the real issues and fix them within 3 days of dropping my car off.
Was very pleased with the overall transaction from dropping my car off, to having it repaired. Feels like I'm driving a new car.
As long as Big Ben's is around, and I need any mechanical work done, he's the guy I will go to. And if he is unable to fix something, he knows trust worthy guys like him, who can.
