I had ordered a ring off the internet based on a ring size I took with a piece of paper and a ruler (hint: don't do this). With no way of knowing my true ring size, or if the size of the ring I ordered was indeed correct, I went in and humbly asked them if they could measure both for me. I felt awkward taking up their time without making a purchase but they were patient and caring.Frankly, if I ever should find myself in a place for a piece of fine jewelry, this is the first place I'll go.
