“A seamstress ruined my dress for a wedding (guest) and I ran to Laura’s last minute to find a new dress. I wish I had asked the associates name. She was on the mission with me and was wonderful! I ended up purchasing 2 dresses!”
“Great clothes in excellent condition and great brand names. One major downfall of this store is that they do not group by size, they group by color. This was really annoying. First I want to find my size and then by style. Color only enters into the equation when it's black - a color I never buy.
I was told the reason for sorting by color is that some clothes don't have the size tags. My silent response to that is ask the person bringing in the clothes to tell u the missing sizes. It's a consignment store after all.
Will I go back? Most likely I won't as this sorting through the racks was painful.”

“Original: I ordered jeans in the store two months ago, wasn’t done properly, the jeans didn’t come and had to called customer service, to put the order through. Still didn’t come!!! Called customer service again and now waiting the refund!!! It has been over two weeks!!!! Unbelievable!!!!

I have been shopping at Pennington’s for many years, my experiences overall have been great. The stuff at the Kingston location are always professional, helpful, kind, courteous, fun, and eager to assist, which is why I enjoy shopping there. The great deals don’t hurt either.
I do want to say, the customer service people were professional. They just weren’t knowledgeable and correct on how to execute the refund. I’m sure they will improve as they go.

“The staff here are amazing! Ordered part of a sweatsuit in store, and another part online because they didn’t have my size. My online order got cancelled by Roots Canada, and I was extremely disappointed, as I wanted the matching pair. I brought the sweater back looking to exchange/return, and they found me the pants at another store, in the size and colour I wanted. Staff were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond.”

“I recently had to get fitted for a suit at RW & Co in their Kingston location inside the Cataraqui Mall. after not wearing one in over a decade. With an important interview just two days away, I was anxious about finding something that would fit well on such short notice, not to mention my concerns about the cost.
From the moment I walked in, Shirley, a customer service associate, approached me as I browsed the navy suits. I explained my situation and that I had no idea what my measurements were. Without hesitation, she immediately sized me up for a jacket, and unbelievably, the first one she picked out fit me perfectly. She did the same with the pants and a button-down shirt. In less than five minutes, I was fitted in the best suit I’ve ever owned.
Shirley was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also friendly and encouraging about my upcoming interview. To top it off, she applied multiple discounts, bringing my bill down by nearly half.

“I went to this location on November 11th to look for a winter jacket. I found what I wanted at a great price but it wasn't available in my size. I asked if any more were available. The staff were very helpful and when they were unable to find my size ordered it online for me. It arrived a couple of days later and is exactly what I wanted!”

“We had a great experience with the owner. We did a early shop for a prom dress not sure what to expect. She just confirmed our daughters dress size and directed us to the dress racks that had that size. She was super accommodating and did not push us into buying any dress. Instead kept encouraging us to try on as many dresses as possible and to check out other local stores to make sure that we were satisfied with our choice. We were impressed with the quality and uniqueness of the dress options. We did end up buying a dress from this store and she gave us suggestions on what to accessorize with.”
