The staff is very knowledgeable and I’d like to thank a young lady named Alexa in particular, who took the time to help me research a feeding schedule for my malnourished rescue kitten and print off a paper with the suggested routine for me. Above and beyond customer service, which helped me a lot with the overwhelming task of rehabilitating my kitten. I have shopped here in the past for my dogs, and hadn’t thought to leave a review, but Alexa deserves recognition for her genuine efforts and care.

Can't say enough about the staff, they are wonderful. They are so good to all the dogs coming into the store, they are attentive and helpful!
The only downside is one of the store managers, apparently she is not the regular store manager. I think she is from the Stanley Park Store. I have only seen her once or twice but she seems to avoid dealing with the customers.
She managed to stop very briefly to put her hand out towards my dog, when I proceeded to make a comment, she completely ignored me and walked away like she didn't hear me. It was very unprofessional to say the least. She always seems very disinterested in dealing with customers.
The Assistant Manager is fantastic, I want to clarify that I am not referring to her.
All the other ladies are amazing here! They go above and beyond in their service!! Thank you so much ❤️

Very friendly and helpful staff, when my first time I was there. They showed me certain stuff I was looking for my kitty. And the lady that helped me was very nice.

Friendly, efficient employees and a pet wash area that's clean and well organized. The groomer who comes in once a month to cut nails is wonderful, too. Great store!

I was having a bad day went into pet valu to pick some things up. Alexa helped me find what I needed but she also cheered me up in the process. That Pet Valu over all has great staff. But I think Alexa could just be the best.

The staff was disrespectful, not even answer hi and bye. She didn’t even bother to ask our number as we have account with them, once we asked for that she typed the number wrong and quickly said you don’t have account and proceed for payment. I recommend to buy your stuff from the one that recently got opened at fisher hall-man road

My cat got sick and will only eat the tube chicken treat. So I walked to the store and in my worry, didn’t check the hours, as I remember it to be open till late, somehow. I arrived exactly at 6:00 pm and they closed the store at that time. The person in there just waved at me saying the store is closed, didn’t even bother to ask if I have an emergency. I buy from this specific store every month in order of 260 CAD per month. Never again
People without compassion don’t deserve my business. This is our neighborhood store but clearly nothing neighbourly about them.
