This is the worst Scotiabank in the city everytime I come back n to do a transaction it's a 30 plus wait and no one is working and the line ups are full of 8 or more people .. it's like they don't care if anyone has anything else to do later like go to work . instead of waiting 11.45 am 15 mins later and no one in a line up of 8 has moved Friday October 11 update review it's 12.15 so 30 mins and still haven't seen a teller finally saw a teller it took me 30 seconds to get my American money that's ridiculous

We approached to resolve the issue we were having with our blocked mobile banking. The process was fast and smooth, and the staff was charming. They took care of everything for us, and we could access our banking the next day. Neither the phone support nor a branch downtown could assist us with this.

Terrible policies
Barely any cash on hand (foreign or Canadian) to effectively do business
Will sometimes charge you fees for using tellers and are generally rude and inflexible with poor customer service

Terrible customer service. Most of the teller desks are always empty. Changes to branch management is required to improve services here.

I had an appointment scheduled at Scotiabank, but when I arrived, I was not attended to. The staff informed me that they had a lot of people that day and suggested rescheduling my appointment. This was very frustrating, especially since I had taken time out of my day specifically for this meeting. I expected better organization and respect for my time from a reputable bank. This experience was disappointing, and I hope Scotiabank improves its appointment handling and customer service in the future.

Only one teller available to help for the entire branch! When asked for extra help the staff said sure they will call someone but so careless and did not ask anyone to help the line up. Such a shame

Went to this bank to meet with a financial advisor to fix an issue with my mortgage payments not coming out automatically. Instead of fixing the issue, she tried selling me personal finance services. At the end she said my issue was taken care of, but a month later I am back on the phone trying to fix the same issue because the FA I met with didn't actually do anything. I ended up wasting an hour of my time.

How does a bank open at 930am and only have one teller at the counter. Folks work and most don't get the opportunity to work bankers hours.
