“God I love Red Pegasus -- this place is far and away my favourite spot in the city for small gifts (which, let's be honest, often end up being for myself). They have a great selection of Canadian-made jewelry, a HUGE card section, beautiful things for the kitchen, and some really unusual kids toys/games. There's also usually a very sweet dog in the store, which is a huge plus.”
“Since moving to Roncesvalles, Scout has become my go-to gift card shop. They also stock lots of gift ideas such as jewelry, home goods, skin care, Bellroy products, notebooks, and card games. The staff is very friendly and entering the store always feels like a warm hug.”

“Great gift shop type store, one of the nicest gift shops in Toronto, it has a very professional franchise type feel in comparison to the old and cluttered China town type gift shops.I found Full Metal Alchemist and Loki tv series pins, finding any FMA merch in store is very very rare. I've been to many anime and pop culture stores in a few cities and have never found merch for either IP.I wanted to buy a handful of pins. The price was $2.50 each. Out of curiosity, I asked if they could do a deal for a bunch of them because that's how bulk purchases work with just about everything. They were hesitant but decided to do a deal, I offered to half their offer because their discount was too big imo. They went through with their initial offer, and I thanked them profusely and looked for a donation box but couldn't find one.”

Prices are reasonable. I visit TO 3-4 times a year and almost always go to the dog fountain, which is very close to this store, so I've walked past it many times. But this was my first time going in and I regret that I waited so long. 10/10 will go back.”
“Scented candles is what I do for self-care.I happened to be in the area and I walked into "labour of love" and I see the kitchen and think, this doesn't seem right, but candles have a habit of being sold in some pretty unexpected places. So I keep going and am greeted by the owner, Regina. She was looking after a couple that seemed new to the city and after she asked them if they liked Toronto, they said something to the effect of -yes, they really did- I could tell by Regina's reaction that she was surprised, I was too. That's how I started a conversation with her. She being a business owner, and I, in a field that sees the inner workings of how the city is run, and it's done terribly.I am very excited for her to host a get together she was talking about. She asked me what was my special talent I could bring to the event...unfortunately, I have no creative talents, I can declutter a place because I'm the opposite of a hoarder and I throw everything out, but nothing I could bring to a party lolBut I am excited to listen to other people's experiences and pitch in!”

“The store is beautiful and has a good selection, the service was great and they offer complimentary gift wrapping. My only complaint is their refund/gift exchange policy which was not made clear at the time of purchase. FYI; 1 week for refunds, 2 weeks for gift exchanges. If you purchase items at the last minute that’s a good enough time. In my case, I purchased the gift 3 weeks in advance as I was in the area and only found out later that my friend cannot exchange the gift because 2 weeks had passed.”
