It is owned by the delightful Lydia who often brings her elderly chihuahua to help her great customers. There is quite the varied selection of gifts in this uncluttered whimsical shop. I left with a puzzle, a sweater, and a craft.”
“A purchase needn’t be grand to deserve a standing ovation. My phenomenal new reading glasses from Jacaranda Tree on Mount Pleasant are proof of that. But the pleasure went well beyond the purchase: the staff welcomed me as though I were entering my own private parlour, looking after everything I needed with warmth and generosity. A thoroughly satisfying find, made memorable by the people who helped me discover it. Go for a browse and allow yourself to be spoiled. Just leave before you start asking what’s for dinner.”

“This store is truly a gem! I came on the weekend and found so many lovely and unique gift items! The ladies there are so friendly, kind and helpful. I found a very lovely bird brooch and it was just what I was looking for. It was hard to decide on just one item, as the store has some very nice kitchen towels and other various accessories. “I was looking for couch cushing covers for spring and stopped in to Kochi Stores recently. I not only bought covers but also kitchen items too. Their pricing is affordable and wonderful quality products. I smile whenever I sit on my couch or go into my kitchen. It's so much brighter, cozier and airy/light. “Beautifully designed cafe cum bookstore / beautiful objects from Portugal. It is different than the ‘old’ Saudade which was located past Ossington. Kudos for carrying books by Clarice Lispector. It is a great pleasure to have a good coffee in that lovely place. The only, possibly negative, comment would be the music on Saturday afternoon when we visited. Heavy, laud, thumping techno(?) which made us go outside to have our coffees. Fado or Brazilian bossa nova would go beautifully with that gorgeous place.”

“The second I walked into the shop I felt a sense of calm and happiness. The smells were incredible, the shopping layout, the product select and especially the staff were amazing.

The selection of candles is amazing. There are so many different colours, shapes, and styles to choose from, whether you’re looking for something simple or more decorative. The quality also looks great, making it a perfect place to find gifts or something special for your home.
I really loved how well-organised everything is. Despite having such a wide variety of products, the store feels clean, easy to browse, and not overwhelming. Every corner has something interesting to look at.

I recently stopped by Outlier Leather & After Hours Creative, a new Indigenous and woman-owned business on College Street, and it did not disappoint! The store is beautifully merchandised, with stunning, modern displays that really showcase the high-quality products. It’s a great place to check out if you're in the area.
They’ve got a fantastic selection of handcrafted leather goods, like wallets and bags, all made with care by David, who is incredibly skilled in his craft. The leather is top-notch, and the designs have a timeless feel.
What makes this place even more special is the amazing artwork from his wife, featured under the After Hours Creative brand. She creates everything from cards, prints, and postcards to enamel pins, stickers, bookmarks, buttons, posters, and more—each piece more unique and beautiful than the last.
The vibe of the store is welcoming, and you can really feel the passion behind the products. As an Indigenous and woman-owned business, it’s so important to support places like this. Small, local businesses like After Hours/Outlier Leather help build and strengthen our community.

“Scented candles is what I do for self-care.I happened to be in the area and I walked into "labour of love" and I see the kitchen and think, this doesn't seem right, but candles have a habit of being sold in some pretty unexpected places. So I keep going and am greeted by the owner, Regina. She was looking after a couple that seemed new to the city and after she asked them if they liked Toronto, they said something to the effect of -yes, they really did- I could tell by Regina's reaction that she was surprised, I was too. That's how I started a conversation with her. She being a business owner, and I, in a field that sees the inner workings of how the city is run, and it's done terribly.I am very excited for her to host a get together she was talking about. She asked me what was my special talent I could bring to the event...unfortunately, I have no creative talents, I can declutter a place because I'm the opposite of a hoarder and I throw everything out, but nothing I could bring to a party lolBut I am excited to listen to other people's experiences and pitch in!”

“I went in today on a mission for a friend to find the perfect wedding card! Had to be pink and sentimental or something special for the whole family to sign.
Upon arrival I asked one of the staff for a hand they were very helpful leading me to the right section. I later discovered pop up cards ....so special so unique and for all occasions! I got the best card pop up wedding cake and it was priced fairly for such a great card! I will definitely be back great employees and great products!”

“Shopped online and purchased a shampoo bar and a conditioner bar (Cocoa Basil) from the brand Do Not Eat. This is literally the only shampoo/conditioner combo that doesn't make my scalp greasy!!! I have curly, low porosity hair, with fine roots and thick ends, so if I mess up wash day, I look a mess. I've been struggling to find anything that doesn't make me 1. shed, or 2. a greaseball.
Happy to say this combo doesn't make me either of those things! I've yet to visit the store in person, but I am very happy with what I purchased from them online :).”

Unfortunately my friend was at an appt when it was delivered the driver left it with a a close neighbour and texted me a photo and name of the person he left it with. Also recieved a lovely message from Alex in customer service as well. Customer service was excellent and with care my first time experience is quite positive. I highly recommend Vyno to you all. “You do not sell anything worthwhile for the majority of the people of Toronto. The only reason you're in business is because you sell things for the Greek community, which is fine, but it doesn't mean you deserve a store on prime real estate on Pape avenue. The Ontario Line is much more important than your business and you don't deserve a dime of taxpayer money to keep your failing business afloat.
Nonetheless, I'll give you 5 stars because I don't have anything against you personally. But this city is worth much more than what you offer. If you want to sell Greek merchandise do it online. You don't need a storefront in a prime neighbourhood no matter how long you've been here.”

It is SO adorable, from jewelry to hats, art, photography, pottery and more. I love that it's all handmade by locals in the area.
