“Such a beautiful little boutique on Bloor West Village in Toronto, easily accessible by transit near High Park and right between Runnymede and Jane Station. It is owned by a lovely mother and daughter duo and run by an all female team. Their story is so inspiring and resilient, and you can really feel the heart behind this place. The store is immaculate, thoughtfully curated, and so welcoming with the prettiest aesthetic. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. They carry an amazing variety of items including tea, Jellycat, kids toys, gifts, stationery, cards, and bath and body products, so you will truly find something for anyone. Prices are very reasonable for such high quality, curated items. I highly recommend anyone in the area or visiting Toronto to come check it out. Please support local small businesses like this, they genuinely deserve all the love. ❤️”
“I love this Arts Market location on Queen Street East. Enough said.
....
Nah, there's more to add. Robbie is always so bubbly and happy. He even told me when my best vendor restocks, so I planned my visits to the store around that timing. Unfortunately, this vendor is no longer at the store. I am just sad I discovered the shop wayyy too late and didn't get a lot of time to enjoy all the goodies from that vendor. But I appreciate the ambiance and customer service here. Always a pleasant stop.”
“Beautiful store with very unique pieces you can’t find anywhere.
Peonies look so real and it’s my favorite decoration in the house . I might just need to find a pure white vase to go with it so stems won’t give out it’s not real .
Vintage jewelry is so beautiful as well , I’ve gotten so many compliments each time I wear .
This store has so many pieces that will help you decorate your place and into a cozy cuteness.
I have to mention that ladies that work there are very helpful and will help you with any questions regarding their selection or what might work for your space .
I always have an incredible experience and would highly recommend to check it out ☺️”
“Such a cute little store! You can find so many cute gifts for yourself and your loved ones here. They have an amazing selection of cards, mugs, pouches, candles and anything that you want. Will definitely be coming back to shop here with my friends and family!”
“SOOOOOO CUTE. Went for the photo booth at the back and their collection of props is adorable, I loved how many background options they gave and since this is a modern day photobooth it was very POC friendly in terms of photo exposure. They also had cute little frames and photobooks you could buy to store your strips if you wanted to display or collect them, otherwise they had free sleeves if you only took a single photo strip. Will 100% be coming back again, especially for all the other stationary goods too!”
“I love this store so much! It was very organized and clean, and it was clear that the owner knew actually what he was doing. He opened right at 11:00, answered all of my questions, and was very polite. The selection of Sonny angel and Smiski was immaculate, and once again, very organized. Would very much recommend Studio Brillantine!”

“I was looking for couch cushing covers for spring and stopped in to Kochi Stores recently. I not only bought covers but also kitchen items too. Their pricing is affordable and wonderful quality products. I smile whenever I sit on my couch or go into my kitchen. It's so much brighter, cozier and airy/light. The salesperson was most helpful and super friendly. I will be checking back often!”
“I am addicted to the varied tote bags that they stock! Adorable patterns and reasonably priced! I walk by the store regularly and often get drawn in to see what's new.”
“My go-to place for cute cards & gifts! Always interesting things in stock, an unmatched selection of cards for every occasion, and so many locally made products too. Very lucky to have this shop in the neighbourhood!”
“The second I walked into the shop I felt a sense of calm and happiness. The smells were incredible, the shopping layout, the product select and especially the staff were amazing.
I found things for myself, and my 4 year old son found a couple items he picked as well. Loved our experience and will definitely be back. Ps. The card selection is AMAZING!!!”

“I love this shop and the people that work there. The owner is a joy to work with and so is her staff. They do a great job curating the displays and offer unique gifts for our fab Beaches neighbourhood”
“This is a beautiful giftshop selling only Canadian products. I had a lovely time chatting to Louisa and choosing gifts for friends and family. A vast array of gorgeous jewellery items, from local artists and craft makers. I had to exercise restraint! Very reasonable prices for the quality and variety and something for everyone. Thank you for a lovely time at your beautiful store.”
“Scented candles is what I do for self-care.I happened to be in the area and I walked into "labour of love" and I see the kitchen and think, this doesn't seem right, but candles have a habit of being sold in some pretty unexpected places. So I keep going and am greeted by the owner, Regina. She was looking after a couple that seemed new to the city and after she asked them if they liked Toronto, they said something to the effect of -yes, they really did- I could tell by Regina's reaction that she was surprised, I was too. That's how I started a conversation with her. She being a business owner, and I, in a field that sees the inner workings of how the city is run, and it's done terribly.I am very excited for her to host a get together she was talking about. She asked me what was my special talent I could bring to the event...unfortunately, I have no creative talents, I can declutter a place because I'm the opposite of a hoarder and I throw everything out, but nothing I could bring to a party lolBut I am excited to listen to other people's experiences and pitch in!”
“I am from Edmonton, AB and wanted to order a necklace but was having a few shipping issues. Sharon could not have been more helpful!! She was so kind & thoughtful throughout the whole process. I also spoke to Rose on the phone who was equally as lovely! Please support them if you can; they also carry beautiful, high quality goods that you’ll love! Thank you Collected Joy team!”
“?A Must-Visit Indigenous and Woman-Owned Business?
I recently stopped by Outlier Leather & After Hours Creative, a new Indigenous and woman-owned business on College Street, and it did not disappoint! The store is beautifully merchandised, with stunning, modern displays that really showcase the high-quality products. It’s a great place to check out if you're in the area.
They’ve got a fantastic selection of handcrafted leather goods, like wallets and bags, all made with care by David, who is incredibly skilled in his craft. The leather is top-notch, and the designs have a timeless feel.
What makes this place even more special is the amazing artwork from his wife, featured under the After Hours Creative brand. She creates everything from cards, prints, and postcards to enamel pins, stickers, bookmarks, buttons, posters, and more—each piece more unique and beautiful than the last.
The vibe of the store is welcoming, and you can really feel the passion behind the products. As an Indigenous and woman-owned business, it’s so important to support places like this. Small, local businesses like After Hours/Outlier Leather help build and strengthen our community.
If you're into quality leather goods or one-of-a-kind art, definitely stop by. Plus, the personal service and atmosphere make it a must-visit! Highly recommend!”
“"A boutique specializing in everything Tibetan whether fashions, jewelry, Tibetan meditation & ceremonial instruments, handcrafted furnishings & decor, antiques from Tibet, rugs, music & books etc." Super friendly stuff , lovely service and great place to pick a gift or souvenir. Definitely would recommend to check it out ?”
“The store has probably the best selection of candles, diffusers in Toronto which has made me a regular customer! Also, the owners of this place are always so kind & helpful which is a major plus.”
“I have been getting bags from Uppdoo for close to 15 years now! My bags are all still in amazing condition, no matter if they are 5, 10, or 15 years old. The leather is beautiful, and also wears extremely well. The patina they have developed over time just adds to the beautiful designs. One of my first bags, a leather tote that I was gifted in university, is now working great as stylish a diaper bag. Ricky is not only an excellent designer, he is also extremely kind. He has helped to repair or replace hardware over the years. I always enjoy having the chance to talk to him.”
“I love this shop so much! The owner is so pleasant and fun to talk to and you can always find the most unique and special gifts. There's quite a large stock of candy from the UK, and also the most beautifully scented hand soaps and candles. A perfect place to treat yourself or find a gift for that special someone.”

Unfortunately my friend was at an appt when it was delivered the driver left it with a a close neighbour and texted me a photo and name of the person he left it with. Also recieved a lovely message from Alex in customer service as well. Customer service was excellent and with care my first time experience is quite positive. I highly recommend Vyno to you all.
