“Well worth a visit (or even a revisit). My mom and I had a pass to visit Black Creek Village on Nov 27. It was getting colder & starting to snow a bit so our expectations were for a short chilly stay. Instead, it was a great visit - we joined 2 of Mitchell's tours, got to taste two of the many ways to appreciate the village. Extra sweetened with a sprinkle of the passion & knowledgeableness of the staff. Well worth a visit, or multiple visits to get to experience all the stories and perspectives of the village. It definitely whet our appetite for another visit.”

“Had a great time and experience at the Dufferin location. They put on a free coffee event and I took the opportunity to pick up a bottle of the Alentejo for our dinner. The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly. A very warm and contemporary vibe. Excellent patio and service. The staff was helpful and making suggestions, highly recommend a visit.”

“This store is conveniently located across the street from Home Depot – one stop shopping!
The selection here is good, compared to other locations. Large walk-in freezer, and returns area is usually has no lineup.
My only beef, is the taxes are no longer included in the price, and are now added on aftward - but that's more of a systemic issue rather than a store specific issue.”
“Always where we return empties and the only issue is how busy the parking lot right in front of the beer store is. Better to park further out in the plaza parking lot.”
“Yesterday my wife and I went to the Beer Store at 529 Oakwood Avenue to return some bottles and to pick up some beer. We were greatly assisted by one of the staff members. I did not get his name, unfortunately, but I would guess that he is in his 50s. Anyway, he was very kind, friendly and helpful. He went far above and beyond his duty, looking after our empty bottles from the moment that we went in the door and offering to carry my beer to my vehicle. We will always go to the Oakwood location, and we hope that this fine gentleman is on duty. He is a credit to the Beer Store, and you are lucky to have him on staff.”

“Helpful staff, small selection of wine from the nearby Niagara region. Since I didn't recognize any of the options, the staff was happy to provide recommendations. The shelf labels show the amount of sugar (i.e. dryness) in each wine. I always thought I liked 'dry' red wine - thanks to this store, I learned that what I actually like is high-tannin red wine.”
“In the times of covid, they were very well organised and protected the employees and customers. I couldn't find the beer I was looking for thankfully it is a liquor store so I found some other poison!”
“I would say this is one of the nicer LCBO stores in Toronto. It’s very well stocked with an impressive selection of wines and top shelf products. It’s always a quick in and out here which I find nice because it can get busy being so close to the beaches! The staff are generally very friendly. I would say though on a busy hot day in the summer, know what you want before going in to ensure you are not stuck in line all afternoon.”

“Outstanding Service from Natalie at LCBO
Natalie was the acting manager today at LCBO and made my return transaction incredibly smooth. I only had a picture of the receipt, and the purchase was made at a different location. Since the barcode wouldn’t scan, she had to manually enter all the information herself.
She handled everything professionally and efficiently, without any hesitation. I truly appreciate the extra effort she put in to help me. Without her, I would have wasted time going to another location.

“Went in looking for a specific Vintages product that your app showed 8 of. However when I got there, was told by Fred Angotti that they were just sold today. He said though that Cornwall and Trafalger had 2. He called and asked them to be put aside and also said he would contact the Product Consultant there (Johnny) via email. Suggested we go into our store (Portage and Colborne) to arrange an IST so I can get them in Niagara where it's a challenge to get wines like this. Thank you for your assistance. Means a lot.”

“Nice clean store with friendly employees who are always willing to give advice if you need help. To bad Doug Ford closed a lot of the Beer Stores. Now I get my beer at the LCBO. I won't buy beer at the corner stores unless everything else is closed and someone unexpected shows up and I'm low on beer.”
