“Picked up chicken shawarma salad at Bucharest. It was prepared with a lot of care this time. I've had instances in the past where the meat was too salty or the lettuce was not fresh. The interior is nice, also by the front entrance there is a small independently owned dessertcounter(delicious). The plaza needs to do something about the mile high speed humps that are constantly scraping up under your car.”
“Not a very big strip mall but it does have a good selection of fast food places, e.g., Burger King, Taco Bell, Starbucks, Little Caesars, Subway and more. Freshco, Dollarama and Pet Valu are also there.”
“What a great location! Upon arrival, I was greeted by Ashley, who was a prime example of quality Customer Service. She was warm, hospitable, and provided great service. She maintained good conversation and made the experience a breeze. In addition, the haircut was excellent and the location clean and well maintained. Also to add, the store has a policy that should a customer walk in right before closing, they would still accept them. That is an example of warm hospitality, and kind courtesy. The mall has changed a lot and for the better. More independent stores are moving in and there are fun and up to date clothing options. Bin's Massage is still awesome. Food court is also worth a visit, there's bubble teas. <3
Just not much here for someone like me... I just go for Bin's massage and the movies.”

“The Millender Center is a hotel, a shopping mall and an apartment complex all in one glorious mid 80s structure. It spans two city blocks in downtown Detroit with a portion of the building forming a bridge over Larned street. The shops are not numerous, but includes 3 restaurants, a market with quality groceries, a party store, fashion shop, credit union, hair styling, book store and a few more. The Millender has a People Mover stop and two "gerbil walks" that connects to the Renaissance Center and to the city county building (city hall). The complex also has a public parking garage which is pretty convenient. This place is a great hidden gem in Detroit.”
“Everfresh is usually fully stocked. They were out of red peppers, and were charging 1.99 each for small, dented green peppers, many had bad spots. They were selling for 4 for one dollar a few days before that. Went to another market, and got them for 1.00.”
